King Khafren View INN — Hotel in Giza

Our Trip to Egypt was Amazing Thanks to King Khafren Hotel and Staff for their help making a safe and fun filled plan that allowed us to feel safe 100% of the time and enjoy every minute.

When we landed we were picked up and brought to the hotel and even though it was 2 am (which dont be surprised, Egypt never sleeps) Ibrahim was up and ready to help us get our plan for the next day underway. He was not pushy and very accommodating.

He has a few tour guides he likes to use and drivers….let me tell you that you will enjoy these people so much and they are very helpful in navigating Egypt…. You do not want to drive here…..Please let me repeat, you do not want to drive here. I have hundreds of thousands of hours driving and this is not somewhere you want to drive so let them take care of you.

Special shout out to Mezzo!!! He is literally the best driver I have ever met. He is so thoughtful and made our trip better than we could have ever imagined. We could have not been happier. My wife and I always felt very well taken care of when he was there. He went above and beyond to help us experience Egypt and its culture. He does not speak much English but he always made sure to use a translator or do his best to communicate with us. We always got gum, coffee in the mornings, rest stops as we needed, and he always thought ahead on how to make our experience better. I just asked him to start playing music from around the area and it opened conversation and opportunity’s to learn. We are foodies….Mezzo is a foodie as well and has a beautiful family. Many of our pictures included him as he became part of the family while we were there.

Our Tour Guides Hana and Naelah were so informative, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We visited Cairo, Alexandria, Giza, and Fayoum.

I have created a video on YouTube to provide a taste of the experience. We also went to Petra during our 7 day vacation a lot for one week but with the daily breakfast, lunches, helpful people, good attitudes, and wonderful weather, it was easily done without stress…..KING...

What a place! Hotel or Family - I say this as it is a hotel who makes you part of the family and you are treated this way the whole stay. It has been my dream for the last 50 years to come to Cairo and see the history- today I’m smiling as I have lived my dream. The moment I turned up at this hotel I knew I made the right decision. Mahmoud the owner was there to greet me on my arrival, it was late but he made sure I was fed and gave me the most wonderful mango juice I’ve ever tasted. I was then asked if I had an a list of things I wanted to do; they arranged tours from the hotel, I wanted a tour guide as well and that was no problem and we booked 3 days worth and all were reasonably priced. I woke up in the morning and went to breakfast on the roof and wow - you are looking at the Pyramids of Giza what a view. The breakfast was out of this world and authentic Egyptian. I then went back to my room opened the curtain and there were the pyramids. After my trip I came back and was taken to a fantastic Egyptian restaurant for dinner. Another fantastic trip and when I got back the owner introduced me to other guests and we all ate and had a laugh together and are all friends now. Today is my last full day and I realised a dream by going to the Egyptian Museum and the Civilisation museum. I’m now back at the hotel and Mahmoud is here to greet me and has arranged my taxi to the airport tomorrow and a trip along the way! This is one of the best places I have stayed. Was a little hesitant about traveling from USA to Egypt due to Middle East tensions, nonetheless I was able to travel here no problems and enjoy a weekend vacation safe and in no harm. Everyone here was extremely friendly and hospitable. Prompt and very professional with everything from the airport pickup to touring the city, everything was great! Everyone here treats you so well and more like a family atmosphere. Truly remarkable and sets the tone for customer service. The room was just as I imagined and very neat and clean. Simply breathtaking to wake up everyday open the window and see the pyramids!! Everyday of my stay, everyone did a fantastic job with making sure I am ok, safe and got me anything I needed. I will recommend this place to anyone I know of that will come visit Egypt. Ahmed was so hospitable and really treated me like family… even inviting me into his home to eat dinner with his family. That was a first for me out of the many years in life I’ve lived and the many places I’ve traveled to. Outstanding place, can’t say enough good things about King Khafren Inn!
