It has a big restaurant at the top with view of the pyramid. Some rooms have balcony with glass wall and railing on the view side. For first time staying by the pyramids not looking for a "different angle" I would recommend staying in the guesthouse more towards the sphinx, the view will be more open with less trees and buildings around. Initially it was very nice of them agreed on a discount price as I arrived without booking, but then after I returned with my luggage, paid them, they copied my passport everything, more than half an hour didn't give me the key though it was already 4pm, and I asked different staffs, only told me the room they showed and agreed to give me was more expensive and the owner denied he was there when I came. After finally went inside the room it became a discovery away from the view it offered. Dirty white wall, dirty and very old sheet with a lot of tiny fiber balls, dirty floor, dirty sink, dirty couch cover, over flooding shower, no trash can at all, toilet paper finished after 4 times normal uses broken toilet seat. It took me 5+ hous asking house keeping, reception, owner, going up and down stairs to finally get some of them sorted out. The receiption took sheet from another room had hair and wrinkles on it also, I had to find another one to show her what a fresh sheet with lines from folding look like. I appreciated they give me a discount and the staff weren't aggressive or anything, didn't bother to write a review like this, but their restaurant the pasta clearly says mushrooms on the menu, there was no mushrooms, had to ask them to add, the breakfast they didn't bring me anything to drink, no bread no yougert like there standard ones, I had to ask, and the snack bar was literally like out of a trash can... It was way to much. Their public bathrooms the sinks were dirty also, had no soap. Even a family guest house I stayed by the pyramids half the price have better and cleaner service than this. It's better if the owner can take serious of his...

It was a miserable experience. We went with my family (4 of us) for 3 nights. We booked the “ Quadruple Room with Balcony - Pyramids View” and got something completely different. The pictures on booking of the room we booked look like a very clean and modern/new room, with a view from the hole bedroom to the three pyramids. Instead we received a dirty room, with used sheet beds and towels that smelled super bad. The toilet with humidity and rust everywhere, un functioning and dirty toilet. NO view of the three pyramids.
We had to pay in cash in advance before even seeing the room. Once we saw the room we immediately went to say this was not the room we asked and payed for (the balcony room was indeed much more expensive than the others). Then they told us that booking had a problem, and the room we originally booked and payed for was full. They said the day after they would solved this.
Two days passed, and every time we would ask about this the smily girl of the reception would told us she was trying to solve this with the manager and she would let us know. Of course, the last day we realized this was just excuses and they would never refund us.
So we went there to the reception and asked them gently again. we wanted a refund of the difference of the price from the room we booked and the one we stayed (in booking it was 130€ difference for the three nights we stayed). We asked them this in a very nice way but we were determined. They said it was not their fault but booking, and the only thing they could do was offer us a dinner.
We were very determined and after one hour and a half of insisting what was fair, they refund us.
Still, horrible experience, and we could see they would do this with other people and rooms. They even change the name of the hotel so that bad reviews confuse...
Read morePSA: As any other restaurant in this twice cursed city, they have two additional charges that they add to your bill, that are not reflected in the menu: 12% service fee and 14% tax (which, I'm fairly certain, is just a 'you're a foreigner and we'll milk you' tax).
But the common scam aside. This restaurant is on a top of a building that is undergoing renovations, so your way up might not be the prettiest. View from the terrace is, of course, great and it's a pleasure to watch a light show from there.
Their menu is fairly large but very similar to everything else around - pizza, pasta, losts of chicken/beef in various configurations. There are only 3 things for vegetarians (greek salad, mozzarella sticks and pene arabiata if you ask them not to put Parmesan on top). But the pene was nice, slightly spicy, not oily, pleasant. And the anti-flu hot spiced orange juice was quite delicious.
Service was fine up until the moment when the waiter decided to just push for tips and hoovered above us to see how much we put there. That was both awkward and unpleasant. I would tip him better if he didn't...
