Housekeeper took away my personal item intentionally.

I placed a eggshell-white coloured plastic cup on the basin of the bathroom. It is obviously different from the cups provided by the hotel Then I put my toothbrush, toothpaste and floss into the cup.

On the final night of my stay, when I returned to the room at night, I was shocked to find that my cup was missing. The three items originally in the cup were neatly placed next to the tap, exactly where the cup should have been. (See the attached sink image).

I believe that my cup was not mistakenly thrown away because the items in the cup have to be intentionally removed from the cup . The cup was taken away intentionally and dishonestly.

I reported the issue to the receptionist on the same night and in the next morning. They said that they checked with the housekeepers and did not find the cup.

After the stay, I sent an email to the hotel to express my disappointment and demanded an apology. The hotel never replied to my email.

I have never encountered such unpleasant and disappointing experience during hotel stays. The integrity of housekeepers has seriously damaged the safety of the hotel. If you will stay there, do not request cleaning or else you could expect to lose anything...

Michel was the absolute 5 star in customer service. We arrived exhausted from an overnight flight. He said he would get the rooms ready as soon as possible. He held our luggage until the rooms were ready. We went to get breakfast and we returned at 12 noon to the rooms being available. Such a pleasant and helpful man. We got in early and were able to get a nap and shower in before our evening adventures. The room AC was nice to have. The water temps were nice and hot and cold . The courtyard was quiet for a good rest. The allocation was perfect to be walking and metro distance from everything, but outside the chaos. Cafes, restaurants, and shopping very close by. If you are a Starbucks and McDonalds person those are close by. But the French bakeries and coffee shops are divine. The beds were very comfortable. Only thing I would add would be a small refrigerator (but that’s just the US in me). Every morning Michel would greet us with his very pleasant smile and Bonjour. There are stairs at the entrance but once you get to the first floor there is a lift for your luggage or self. Thoroughly...
