La Citadelle des Grands Boulevards — Restaurant in Paris

I’ve been visited a Paris last night, and I’m shocked. The service is completely disaster . They don’t care about others, from the waiters to the chef and they will just say; I don’t understand English, and not even try to help u… so disappointed of France this summer especially when its overwhelmed. Poor tourist who want have unforgettable memories for rest of their life will be disappointed and regret that they visited. The restaurant called :Citadelle -Grand Boulevard ! They don’t have even lights in the toilets-which is downstairs,so u can harm urself. The waiter french lady was made a face when I spoke to the restaurant manager, which shows a pathetic upbringing and attitude towards customers. They don't care if you're hungry or not, if you like the dish or not. it's like explaining to a blind person what vision is, that's how i would describe the experience of dining at this establishment. Look at this fries is it looks fresh? When I asked them to change they just heated and bring back. Even more, the lady waitress took my cover of sunglasses and throw it! I will not recommend to anyone...

We walked in for dinner. At first they were so nice and helpful. We had a baby with us and they accommodated. But it took SO long for them to take our order or even give us a menu. We asked so many times but the waiter just kept saying ok. Then finally he gave us the menu and I asked if they had it in English he said "no" but I found out myself they had it in English with a QR code that he didn't mention anything about. So when I showed I was upset about that and asked for the wifi password he gave me the biggest attitude and mumbled it to me and when I asked him to repeat it he literally walked away and said I'll be back. Like I couldn't believe the attitude. He also got our orders wrong, the pizza wasn't sliced, we asked for the bread basket multiple times and it never came, we asked for ketchup multiple times but that never came either but we let it all go, we just wanted to finish and leave. And even getting the bill after we asked multiple times, took forever. Just all around...

Accueil : Expérience très décevante côté service. La serveuse qui nous a accueillis affichait une froideur remarquable, le visage fermé, sans un sourire, comme si servir des clients relevait de la corvée. Nous avons demandé à nous installer sur une partie de la terrasse accessible avec une poussette, ce qui nous a été refusé sous prétexte que c’était une zone de passage. Finalement, nous avons été installés dans un coin exigu, ce qui nous a obligés à déranger plusieurs clients déjà attablés. Le plus étonnant ? Avant de partir, nous avons vu une famille avec une poussette, installée exactement à l’endroit qu’on nous avait refusé…

Cuisine : Les plats étaient très moyens : • Salade César correcte mais sans plus. • Frites grasses, molles, sans goût. • Burger fade, pain de qualité médiocre (type industriel), seul le steak relevait un peu le niveau. • Pizza Margherita très grasse, avec une garniture qui se détachait complètement de la pâte.

Rapport qualité/prix : Clairement mauvais. Les tarifs ne sont pas du tout justifiés par la qualité des plats.

Décoration : C’est probablement le seul point fort du lieu. La déco intérieure est magnifique, dépaysante, on oublie presque qu’on est à Paris.

Toilettes : Propreté un peu limite dans les toilettes dames.

Conclusion : Un endroit peut-être sympa pour boire un verre, profiter de la déco… mais à fuir si vous cherchez un bon repas. Mention spéciale toutefois au responsable (ou gérant ? Ou chef d’équipe ?) qui a été chaleureux, aimable, souriant – enfin quelqu’un qui a compris ce qu’est l’accueil client. Quant à la serveuse : un service aussi mauvais, c’est rare. Regard noir, ton cassant, aucune bienveillance… Soit elle avait un problème personnel avec nous, soit elle est comme ça avec tous les clients – dans ce cas, une formation en relation client s’impose… ou peut-être un changement de voie...
