EDIT: Since I can't reply to your reply. Photos don't lie. Every thing you say after the photos is irrelevant.
PS: This is a year old review, for some reason (I wonder why...🤔🤔) the photos were removed, I resubmitted them.
Pee traces in the bathroom The "windows" in the photos are prints, not windows, that automatically light up in the morning. Dirty sheets, dirt & hair under the bed cover. Clogged shower drain. Dirty shower pan. Hard rock bed & almost not-existing pillows. (no additional pillows in the closet too). Broken hair dryer - The staff was helpless when I asked for a replacement or a solution to dry my sick wife's hair. They didn't even provide a temporary room for her to dry her hair!! Let alone that the carpet in the room was dirty, the ceiling has water damage, the elevator takes ages to move, very slow wifi & much more!! Check the photos and videos.
The first red flag was way before entering the room tho! Checked in past 10:30 pm the guy asked me if I can pay in cash & get a 5% discount. Thought they were trying to save CC payment fees & I told them I can pay in the morning, but he refused. This made me feel uncomfortable. On second thought are they trying to run away from booking.com fees or even taxes? Cause 5% is way more than CC processing fees alone!!
The "heavily discounted price" is another trick they are playing to make their dungeons lucrative. I'll report this to Booking.com separately for fraudulent activity. The room isn't worth even the discounted price.
I must add that I was very tired and didn't complain about the first 5 points the night I checked it. I wiped out the toilet seat with a wet wipe & even removed the drain cover to try to clear it... it didn't help!! It is when the hair dryer didn't work in a 4-star hotel & they couldn't provide a solution till the next morning, hell broke loose!
I'll give this hotel 5 stars in "worse 4-star hotel ever"! Hell, even the worst motel I have stayed in was way better than this one! At least they didn't have this many problems.
The only good thing?...
Read moreI had an amazing stay at Aqua Liberty Hotel in Tbilisi from February 13-16, 2025! As a solo traveler, I couldn’t have asked for a better place. My room was super comfortable, very clean, and had a lovely view. The hotel’s location is perfect—right in the heart of the city, so I could easily walk to all the main attractions.
The amenities were great! They provided a bathrobe, fresh towels, toiletries, a hairdryer, and even a bidet (which many hotels don’t have). The bathroom itself was stylish and classy—definitely one of the best parts of the room. Breakfast was also delicious and a great way to start the day.
What really made my stay special was the staff. A huge thank you to Mr. Mahan at reception for his kindness and for making me a fresh coffee at the last minute before my early check-out—I truly appreciated it! Even though he admitted he’s not the best at making coffee (since the barista wasn’t there), he put in the effort and did his best. It came in a paper cup instead of a ceramic one, so yes, it tasted a little like paper—joking! Hahaha. But honestly, it was the thought that counted, and I loved the gesture. And Mr. Giorgi was so helpful with my luggage. Both of them were not only professional but also wonderful to talk to. Before I left for Batumi, they gave me great recommendations and made sure I had everything I needed. Plus, they speak English fluently, which made everything so easy and enjoyable.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone...
Read moreThe hotel Aqua Liberty has a great location. 20 m from Liberty Square in Tbilisi. 10 minutes of walk to Old City, 5 minutes of walk to Shota Rustaveli str. The rooms of the hotel are ok, well decorated with City view. (we have a Deluxe Double room). But the hotel has several flaws. First the mattress is very, very hard, it is just like hard board. Don't try to fall on this bad - you can injure yourself. Second - the breakfast, very poor, 2 types of white cheese, some bologna, sausages, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, hard bans from yesterday or last week, filtered coffee. Third issue - room service, I asked for additional blanket - they brought it without a duvet cover. And next day the took it from the room during daily cleaning routine. Addition small flaw - some strange small pipe in the bathroom, next to toilet seat, it comes from the wall, and has some weak stream of water, right on the floor (see picture). My guess it is condensed water from AC.
BTW the hotel does some trick, I ordered it via Booking. They allow to cancel the order even in the day of Check-In. Then when we entered the hotel, the guy on reception proposed to cancel the order on Booking and the hotel will provide me 30 dollars discount. I did it and just later realized, that it won't allow me to review the...
