Octava Hotel is an ideal place to stay, work and get the most out of Tbilisi.||||“Comfortable. Centrally located. Superb service. Warm atmosphere coming from the heart. Home like.” These are the words that characterize Octava Hotel Tbilisi and its employees.||||I originally booked my stay at booking.com and later returned and stayed here with my family for three months as I found the place amazing and most comfortable for work and leisure. ||||The rooms are spacious, and many are with balconies with chairs and tables where you can rest during the day and in the evening time. The beds are large and very comfortable for sleep. There is no noise and no disturbance at nights. You can open the balcony and hear birds singing in the mornings and observe the sunrise from the balcony above a wonderful park across the street. In my room a hotel owner arranged a big table for work and a comfortable armchair, so I had a spacious comfortable office. I have worked daily both in my room and on the balcony and in a big comfortable common room with the fireplace next to the reception (it is mostly free after breakfast time). The hotel owners have a good taste and furniture and decoration of the rooms, and the reception area are excellent.||||When it comes to food, the hotel has a wonderful selection of breakfasts (3 choices) and if you stay long period, like we did, you can agree on a special menu selection for lunches and dinners. For evening time guests can choose from regular snacks in a minibar and hotel made humus and vegetables and fruit salads that are wonderful.||The hotel is close to the metro station and one of two best shopping malls in Tbilisi next to the Liberty square and is in a walking distance to the excellent Carrefour supermarket and farmers market located in a same building. Taxi rides are cheap so you can get to most locations for USD2-4.||||Octava hotel is located at Rustaveli avenue (for its significance and central location this street in Tbilisi is like Regent Street in London or Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris) that is a walking distance from all the tourist attractions. We mostly every day went for a walk to Tbilisi Old Town which is in a neighborhood, Mtatsminda park (funicular is a walking distance), Sulfur Baths and Narikala Fortress, Georgian national museum and art galleries as well as other attractions.||||We are very grateful to Barbare and Shako, the owners, who personally helped us in settling down and getting to know Tbilisi and put together our daily life, so we feel at home. Special thank you to a wonderful hotel team who became a part of our family Ana, Keti, Maia, Nino, Saba, Tornike, Toko and Shota. You will always be...

Read moreThis hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in. It was our first time in Tbilisi, and at first, we weren’t sure which area we wanted to stay in. Now I can say with confidence that we made the perfect choice — I never once regretted booking this hotel. From the very moment we arrived, we were greeted by a smiling, friendly young lady who showed us to our room and offered us breakfast. All the staff here are polite, warm, and always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast is not included in the room rate, but it is absolutely worth it — everything is served fresh and hot. You can also request changes to suit your preferences — for example, my wife prefers boiled eggs to an omelette, and they were happy to accommodate. In this hotel, you will never be left without attention. Any request was fulfilled immediately: they replaced one large blanket with two separate ones for us and always served tea whenever we asked. Over the 10 days we stayed here, we became friends with the staff and felt like one family. They truly value their guests and do everything to make you feel at home.
The only minor downside was that the air conditioner was a little noisy, but it didn’t affect our overall...
