(Reply to owner: 10 lari costed me my dignity. Your reception guy treated me like a peasant to get 10 lari out of me. I tried to made him understand my situation but he wasn't ready to budge. He said in the most authoritative manner *This is hostel, people will snore. If you can't bear that then get a private room.
Like I said before the bed I slept on was taken by another guy even when the bedsheet wasn't changed but your guy did take extra money from me)
All other reviews are fake or bought. TBIL Hostel is easily one of the worst hostels I've ever stayed in. From the moment I arrived, the vibe was negative and unsettling. The dorm room was in the basement, which felt cramped and uncomfortable.
To make matters worse, one of the guests was acting like a psycho, and another older guest snored so loudly that it was impossible to sleep. I woke up in the middle of the night because of the noise and decided to switch beds.
The next morning, the receptionist had the audacity to charge me 10 Lari for switching beds, even though the bed I left wasn’t cleaned and was immediately given to a new guest. The lack of cleanliness and the rude staff made this experience even worse.
I strongly recommend avoiding this hostel...
Read moreI had been in this hostel twice, about 3 nights for each of the stays and both of them were so pleasant. It's cosy and friendly. Price is very good and budget-friendly. All the facilities are clean, including the rooms, bed sheets, corridors and common areas, WC, kitchen and etc. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave and coffee-maker. All the staffs are helpful and friendly and they would joyfully help you if they were asked.||However, the key feature of this hostel is its location. Being established in the old Tbilisi district, it provides easy access to numerous tourist attraction places, including Narikala, Botanical garden, mother of Georgia statue, Sameba cathedral, nightlife of Shardeni street and etc. The district is very beautiful and roaming around in the old Tbilisi streets and alleys would be fun. There are lots of bars, pubs, taverns and cafes around. Additionally, the district is very safe even after midnight.||Also, public transportation is easily accessible including Subway, city buses and buses from/to...
