Kisi Hotel — Hotel in Tbilisi

There is quite literally no better place to stay when in Tbilisi. The location is incredible - very central, close to so many places that are must sees, a few minute walk down to the river which is great so nice and relaxing. The best value - we have stayed at 2 other hotels during our time in Tbilisi, both of similar star level and price, and Kisi made them feels like 2 star. We had a superior double room on the first floor - it's definitely worth springing for the superior room. You absolutely have to go to the rooftop terrace , the view is amazing from there.

The service is the best of anywhere we had in all of Georgia. Every single staff member was so polite, helpful and willing to do more then required at any point with everything we needed from the minute we checked in until checkout. Sophie is amazing, as well as Otto and Meggie - they all deserve a shout-out, especislly Sophie. They made everything about our stay easy. Sophie organised PCRs for us both within a couple hours of checking in order to get results in time for our departure, and the company came to the hotel and done them for us and all we had to do was walk down stairs, confirm identity and get the test done.

While we were there when there was a blackout due to whether that took out all electricity within about a 500m radius. This was during breakfast, , and within minutes Sophie ensured anyone checking out that they will have more time, and the entire hallway, bar and eating area was covered in candles which gave it a very romantic vibe for breakfast, while making sure we were all in the loop until the city restored electricity.

I’d like to start with the few positive aspects of my stay. The hotel offers a decent breakfast, and the true highlights were the wonderful bartender and the housekeeping staff — kind, attentive, and genuinely committed to making guests feel welcome. Without them, my stay would have been nothing short of a nightmare.

Unfortunately, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. The room did not match the description or the photos presented online. The furniture was old and worn, the beds were shabby, and there were no mattress protectors on the single beds — as I later learned, they were simply not available at all. The windows were dirty, and there was a thick layer of dust on the bed’s headboard, suggesting a serious lack of cleanliness and attention to hygiene.

The promised view from the room was nonexistent. Instead, I was met with constant street noise, which made it difficult to rest. The photos on the hotel’s page are heavily edited and do not accurately reflect the actual condition of the property, which felt misleading and disappointing.

What disturbed me the most was the unacceptable behavior of a young man at the reception. He was aggressive and rude — at one point, I genuinely feared for my safety. Although the manager later assured me that the issue had been addressed and disciplinary action was taken, it did little to ease the distress or make up for the emotional discomfort I experienced.

It’s unfortunate that my stay was overshadowed by such issues. I hope this review helps future travelers make a more informed decision, and I sincerely hope the hotel takes serious steps toward improving both its facilities and the conduct...

Amazing stay! Such a beautiful place filled in with such a lovely people. More than to stay inside the room, we wanted to spend time with people who work there. They gave us memorable sweet moments by arranging for the birthday cake. Thanks Nicholas ⚽️ and Tata for that. We miss you guys and the stay as well. Next time visiting Georgia only for KISI and people there. We were first welcomed by Ninutsa (Nini), such an adorable woman. Later we were taken care by Neka and Basa-boy, the cute one was so generous and kind gentleman. Tata was so much fun 😂 can’t forget those moments. So much midnight talks and fun things we all shared and mock Nicholas for his Football and English talks. 😂 Anddddddd Finallyyyy Nicholas!!!! The man. He is extraordinary. The Best.
