To the owner, sharing so that it’s known to owner of the restaurant chain . We felt the restaurant had gone so commercial that they doesn’t care for the customer . This is sure all because of the poor management and lack of proper guidance from the owner for sure , as the control is from the owner and then pours down to the management and then to the staff . Very pity , whatever starts had got an end too . Sharing today’s experience we went at the Tiblisi branch for dinner and ordered rice . Chicken masala, lacha paratha , Chana masala , and coke . It took approx 20 mins to serve Lacha paratha and then the Chana masala . We started and then came the rice after another 15 mins they served the rice . We had to left the rice half way as they couldn’t serve the chicken and after repetitive request we got the first understand that the chicken is not ready and then we said if any alternate dish is ready pls provide so that we can finish the meal , but they said they don’t have . Thereby we had cancel our dinner in half way . What a shame of the resturant . The reason I felt was there arrived a group of 10 to 12 tourist group who was with a guide and their table was reserved and thereby all the focus from the hotel went to them . We understood it’s all commissions , the travel agents contact etc etc and thereby the hotel team didn’t wanted to make them unhappy . What a bunch of jocker management . If such are the treatment to the customers from the hotel side, I pray such hotels / restaurants gets shuts down very soon . When I raised this concern to the concerns at the hotel I asked them not to charge for the chicken and the rice . Dear owner hope u care of the customer all equally and have strict zero tolerance policy for such instances . Would request to investigate the case what went wrong here . Attach is the bill receipt copy for...
Read moreIn Georgia the food can become quite monotonous and people from the sub continent with a spicy tongue it can really take a bit of passion out of the travel. We faced the same and decided against our principle to visit an Indian restaurant in a foreign land.
The restaurant is tagged rightly in Google maps although its access from an alley from the back. It’s accessible through a staircase and I couldn’t spot any elevator. The restaurant is spread over 2 large rooms and a special seating arrangement on the balcony that will always be on demand.
We figured it has quite an exhaustive menu and thus took the help of the waiter. The recommendation was chicken tikka masala but our tongues wanted a bit of sweetness so we went for Butter chicken instead. Along with it we ordered 1 garlic Nun and Missi roti. The dish was above average and the service is slow primarily because there were just 2 ladies managing the entire tables across the restaurants.
Thus we had to ask for onions and then lime and tissue paper. Nevertheless in a holiday we don’t mind but someone who is in a hurry might feel a bit of discomfort.
They did not have any hard liquor. But had local beer and soft drinks.
The payment can be made by cash at the table or for payment in card one has to walk all the way to the reception where the card machine is present.

Read moreMaharaja Restaurant in Tbilisi is a culinary gem that promises an exceptional dining experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the evening.
The food quality at Maharaja is simply outstanding. Each dish is a testament to authentic Indian cuisine, bursting with rich flavors and perfectly balanced spices. We particularly enjoyed the chicken masala and wheat rotis, which were cooked to perfection. The chicken masala had a rich, creamy sauce with tender pieces of chicken, while the wheat rotis were fresh, soft, and complemented the dish wonderfully. The butter chicken and lamb biryani were also noteworthy, and the naan bread was fresh and fluffy. The variety of vegetarian options was impressive as well.
The service was equally remarkable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of excellent. They provided insightful recommendations and were always on hand to attend to our needs without being intrusive.
Overall, Maharaja Restaurant in Tbilisi excels in both food quality and service, making it a must-visit for anyone craving a delightful and memorable Indian dining experience. We look forward to...
