ძალიან ჯანდაბა გემრიელი კერძია! This restaurant is definitely one of the best Georgian restarant in Tbilisi. We ordered Adjarian Khachapuri, veal Chashushuli, Eggplant with walnut and homemade lemonade. First, about food, homemade lemonade was amazing since it tasted really fresh with some pomegranate and berries. And the meat in veal Chashushuli was just a pure joy of chewing and the collaboration with tomato sauce was wonderful. Eggplant with walnut was quite nice, especially the oil on the surface of it was the magic and one of features that made this restaurant special. More than anything, Adjarian Khachpuri was so amazing that we, in deed, did order one more at the end of the meal! The cheese was so fresh and the bread part of it was hot and full of another fresh cheese in it. The view from the restaurant was another charming point of this restaurant with beautiful sceneary of Mtkvari River and Metekhi Church. Staffs were all friendly and helpful with fluent English as well. Only downside of this restaurant was that since it opens from 1pm, it would be great if it opens a bit earlier for who wants to have lunch before 1pm. Since we still have more days staying in Tbilisi, we are surely back here again within a few days. შეხვედრამდე!

Located in Tbilisi‘s old town in close vicinity to the sulfur baths, Usakhelouri restaurant offers excellent Georgian food with very fair prices. The menu offers a wide range of the classic starters and sides as well as many different main courses. We’ve actually been to the restaurant twice since we liked it so much and the staff was very friendly. The first time we had the cucumber & tomato salad, home style fried potatoes, an imeretian khachapuris as well as the fried chicken in garlic sauce. Portions were quite big so my wife and I didn’t manage to finish all the food despite our best efforts. They also have an extensive wine list for bottles or glasses. Glasses range from 4 GEL (home red, had it and it’s quite good) to around 14 GEL. The second time we again had the cucumber & tomato salad, home style fried potatoes, the eggplant with walnut as well as the fried salmon. Again, all dishes were excellent and are thus highly recommended. The waiter still knew us from our first visit a couple days earlier and greeted us very warmly. In short, clear recommendation to enjoy their very tasty Georgian food in a great location, inside or on their balcony.

After the sulfur bath we read the reviews about the restaurant and it is 4.8/5 ! Hmm ! Went there met by a jolly waiter . Some folks were there eating . Ordered steamed buns, ( only serve 1 size with 10 pieces ) fried Trout, chicken in white sauce ,roasted potatoes, grilled veggies, eggplant and added bread and catsup. In short we wanted yo taste a palatable Georgian cuisine !Right , all the food are HORRIBLE !Eggplant was salty as the waiter said it is a lil bit salty after seeving to us!😮Steamed buns so much dough tasteless , chicken was dry and old , you can tell it was sitting in the kitchen for days , grilled veggies , well they poured black sauce on it made it worst! Fish was limpy supposed to be fried ?! Bread was leftover as I tasted it was hard and tasteless! Tying to pay ! Any add ons like condiments are charge as in 2 tablespoon of catsup and bread not complimentary !! Wasn’t impressive at all . Will not recommend this place !

We recently dined at a fantastic Georgian restaurant and had an unforgettable experience. The highlight of our meal was the aubergine with walnuts, which was simply amazing. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced. We also tried the khinkali with beef, which was deliciously juicy and flavorful. The house wine complemented our meal perfectly, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening. Our server, David - the greatest, was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. He made sure we had everything we needed and his recommendations were spot on. Overall, the food, drink, and service were outstanding. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and delightful Georgian dining experience.

I have recently had the opportunity to dine in Restaurant Usakhelouri and it was one of the most pleasant dining experiences over my 10 days stay in Tbilisi. We were served by Giorgi who was very well spoken and fluent in English, and he gave several great recommendations for food as well as some explanations as to what they are and how to enjoy them. Aside from that, the food was absolutely phenomenal. Prepared quickly and to great taste. Do absolutely try their special meat plate to enjoy superb chicken, pork and veal, as well as try their assortment of Georgian sauces. I do recommend that you call in advance so to secure a seat at their balcony to dine and enjoy a high view of the area. Well done, would dine again!

The food here is really good, I loved the fried pork with potatoes and sauteed onions. We had the chicken soup too and it was hearty and perfect for the cold weather. We got the champignons in a skillet and it paired nicely with our main course. I reckon the one with cheese would taste really nice too, but might be too much for just 2 people. There's a small balcony here that'll accomodate 2 parties of 3 each. The rest of the tables are inside. The balcony overlooks the hot baths and a small garden. The price is ok, not too pricey. Definitely worth it considering the view and the quality of the food. Service here is also friendly with all smiles 😁 I'll be back!
