The location could not have been better! Breakfast was decent, better on some days then others. Some of the breakfast staff was unfriendly, but the front desk staff and manager were wonderful and extremely helpful. However, to advertise this a "4 Star Hotel" is laughable. If this is 4 stars by Georgian standards, I can't imagine what a 1 star looks like. It looked nothing like the pictures online. The room and bathroom were so cramped and there was no place to put our clothes, except for 4 hangers. TV didn't work and we only had half a roll of TP upon check-in. In additon, we couldn't open the curtain, because we were right on two public starewells, so people would look into our room. Some of the advertised amenaties no longer exist. Lastly, we specifically booked "their" airport shuttle to avoid getting ripped off and were charged 80 Lari, while going back the receptionist ordered us a Bolt, which only charged 20 Lari.

What really makes this hotel special … the personnel … always so friendly, always ready to help, always withe a smile. And yes, Tbilisi suffered from a water-outage during our stay - not the hotels fault- a leak that n the main water system- the staff did everything they could to keep us informed and predict the timing for a solution - with a smile there again and with some of the toutists being not that ‘friendly’ and ‘understanding’ - the staff kept the helping attitude. Great staff !!! And my excuses for the misbehaviour of some touristes.

Thank you heart warming staff for welcoming us from the day of our stay until the last. We hope to comeback in georgia and this hotel is amazing. We had the chance to use the balcony while watching the busy old city of Tbilisi and the day in a life of people which we really appreciate how kind the people in this place are. 🫶🏻we feel safe. thanks to all the staff from reception area and dining area . We enjoyed the food you serve 🥰

Ideally located in the old Tbilisi, just a few steps from Shardeni Street, where you will find a variety of cafés, bars and restaurants and a 4-minute walk from Europa Square and the Virgin Mary Church of Metekhi. Popular points of interest can be found nearby: The National Botanical Garden and the Tbilisi's Belnological Museum are 400 meters away. The Wine Spot's restaurant offers a kinky show, where you can enjoy this preparation and tasting.

The hotel boasts views of historical points of interest, including the Mtkvari River, Metky Church, the Old Town and Narikala Castle, 400 meters away. Enjoy free Wi-Fi and relax on the terrace.

A buffet breakfast is served each morning.

The elegantly decorated rooms have air conditioning, a private bathroom, a minibar, flat-screen satellite TV, free toiletries and a hairdryer for your convenience.

Staff at the 24-hour front desk can assist you with any questions.

Freedom Square is 1 km away, Rike Park is 400 meters away, Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theater is 2 km away and the nearest international airport, Tbilisi, is 17 km away.

This accommodation is located in one of the highest locations in Tbilisi! We were more satisfied with it than other places in the area.

This accommodation has received a high rating for cost compared to Tbilisi...

A Nice Stay Thanks to an Incredible Team||We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel and would happily return, primarily due to the fantastic staff.||The Good:||· Location: Excellent and very convenient for exploring the city.|· Cleanliness: The hotel is spotless. Despite being an older building, it is very well-kept and tidy.|· Staff: This is where the hotel truly shines. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, professional, and helpful. We were particularly impressed by Alex, the Reservation Manager, who ensured our booking was handled perfectly, and Aran, one of the receptionists, who provided us with great recommendations and a warm welcome every day.||Areas for Consideration:||· Breakfast: The breakfast is simple and satisfactory. However, expanding the selection with a few more items for Western guests (such as different breads, yogurt varieties, or fruits) would elevate the experience. And more importantly, start it earlier. 8am is too late for starting the day.||Overall, a great value stay with a heart of gold thanks to its...

Siamo stati accolti in maniera molto gentile. Lingue parlate dai due manager sempre presenti in struttura (alternativamente): russo, inglese e anche l'italiano.||||||ENG Version:||||I spent two days at the King Gorgasali Hotel together with my girlfriend during a trip to Georgia at early January 2020. The hotel is located in the historical old center of Tbilisi, really close to the main attractions and places of interest. The thermal baths of Tbilisi are also near to the hotel (4 minutes on foot).||||The structure has been recently renovated, the interiors are well refined. It counts 4 floors; the last one has a beautiful terrace facing the center and the Kura River. Remark: the terrace is not open during the winter but only at summer time, when tables and chill areas are set up. There is a restaurant in the same complex (Sormoni Meidan, top 10 of the Tbilisi restaurants on TripAdvisor, which offers traditional Georgian food) and a Wine Bar / Wine Shop (wines have to be tried!). Breakfast is buffet style and is quite rich, including some Georgian specialties.||||The rooms are equipped with every comfort; our room had TV, safe, minibar. WiFi is available throughout the hotel (including bar and restaurant). Excellent cleaning and large spaces.||||The hotel also offers excellent massages at competitive prices (I personally tried the Sport Massage: highly recommended). The staff is very friendly and smiling, offering good advices in organizing your stay in Tbilisi. We were greeted very kindly.
