Lato Annex Boutique Rooms — Hotel in Municipality of Heraklion

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lato Annex Boutique Rooms, a fancy hotel in the city of Iraklio, and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. I visited in the off season so prices were super cheap.

The annex has no front desk so checking in is across the street at the main hotel lobby and so is breakfast.

For parking, Lato has a deal with the Heraklion port so you can park at the port parking lot for free which is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. You show your keycard to get access/entry to the parking lot.

The rooms are very typical European style where there is just enough space for the bed and your luggage. The bathroom is just enough space for toilet and shower. I didn’t mind it at all since I was only there to sleep and shower.

I would recommend a stay! The location is very conveniently located within walking distance to the town...

It’s not so pet friendly at this hotel, they charge €25 Euro for a tiny clean dog that doesn’t even malt, that’s excessive on a €40 Euro room, there’s many other hotels offering free pet stay.
