Nice Choice near the Harbour

While I wouldn’t rate this place as a FIVE STAR luxury hotel as they claim themselves to be, it is a refreshing option in the old part of the city that certainly comes with a sweet hospitality you can expect from any luxury hotel. But the hefty price tag and mark-ups on all the stuff available at their outlets is surely not worth it! So stay away from any of their F&B outlets and eat and drink outside

LOCATION: Lovely location next to the harbor and walkable distance from All points of interests

DINE + DRINK: Nice Café/Bar/Restaurant at Lobby level - Good but very expensive, so stay away from it as you are just walkable distance from a ton of cheap and authentic local eateries, Cafes and bars! Do not miss the MIND-BLOWING BREAKFAST!! The highlight of our stay!!

ROOM: We stayed in 403, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Lovely view of the Venetian Harbour and the Ferries on the Mediterranean; SIZE: Very spacious Suite room; AIR-CON: Not functioning as it was winter, So had to leave the doors open! BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: The Highlight of the stay - Excellent spa quality cosmetics from KORRES – one of the top quality designer cosmetic brand of GREECE!

FACILITIES: They have a swimming pool and ‘Health club’ on site. But the so called HEALTH CLUB is a tired gym that is nothing more than a small room fitted with some dated machines! Stay away!

SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all my needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout out to STEFANI at the Front desk who was extremely friendly and ensured the best checkin experience with a very warm and wonderful welcome! Also IRINI at the breakfast place was a wonderful hostess explaining everything to us sweetly!!

HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Medium high speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Big Plasma TV screen dishing out very limite set of channels spanning sports...

Excellent hotel in Heraklion, that we booked directly in their website since you always get more by doing so . The building itself is an amazing architectural renovated stucture , one of the most imoressive in Greece . The views to the venitian Port are amazing from the 5th floor . We stayed 3 nights during August busy period but I was postively impressed from this high quality hotel .

The room , even though we booked the simple one , was excellent, with wood floor , high ceiling , very clean , the bathroom very big and many small details that make this a 5 star hotel . In some 5 stars the cheapset rooms can be disappointing but here it was really a very good room . THe room being arranged few times per day by the hotel staff and we slept really good on the beds . We didn't take the breakfast but ordered some sandwiches to our room and portions were big and again excellent quality of food and service.

We also had dinner at the 5 th floor restaurant, it was very very good.

Sitting to relax in this hotel roof is amazing since you can see all of Heraklion port with cruise ships and ferries but also the Venetian port ,the wind is amazing and you really dont want to leave once there . The swiming pool on this sane roof is very small so don't expect something huge to swim but it is ok for a city hotel.

The hotel also made a taxi booking for us to the airport and the prices were even cheaper than taking a taxi with App or in the street so I really recommend to get the hotel reception help in anything you need .they are all very kind .

We needed a late check out because of our flight but the hotel was fully booked still the hotel team allowed us to stay in the faciltiies and even taking a shower at the Spa which was really great for us .

As a person who have been to many 5 stars around the world , this one is really meeting the standards of an excellent hotel as expected from a 5 star and I'm assume this is Crete...

We were somewhat confused by the hotel. On one hand, the staff is really friendly and helpful, and the room we booked (junior suite city view) was large with high ceilings and was clean. ||On the other hand, for a five-star hotel, there are things missing.|For example, you cannot charge anything to your room, so either for breakfast, a drink at the pool, etc., you need to carry your wallet.|The bathroom is small and, unfortunately, without a window or ventilation. There is AC, but not a central one, just a small AC unit opposite the bed. ||The gym is not only small, but out of 4 machines, 2 are simply not connected to the power and therefore not usable.|| The entrance looks more like one of an apartment building, and the lobby is further inside the building. There is no one to help with the bags (I think you can go in and ask them for help if needed). ||There is a relatively small pool on the roof, but it is nice to cool down, and there is a great view shared with the restaurant on the same floor.||The location is very convenient either for the sights, bus, and easy walk to the harbor, city center, and plenty of restaurants. |Overall we had a good stay, and it is a solid hotel, in my opinion, just not...
