Luxury Apts Heraklion Center — Hotel in Municipality of Heraklion

Summary: No luxury treatment in a luxury apartment without hot water.

The good: the place is centrally located and well equiped. Communication to check in (a call with a man) is a breeze and very responsive. Fruits and biscuits on a table.

The bad: Noice from traffic next street and can hear across walls.

The ugly: A) there is limited to no hot water. B) if you are not ready 5 min before check out at 10:55am, you’ll see a cleaning lady come in without knocking. At 11:05am, you’ll see her unapologetically drop offer her cleaning equipment. At 11:14am, you’ll see an angry Greek woman saying “you cant be here, we have an agreement for you to leave at 11am and we need to prepare for next client” (4 hours before check in). If you are not awake by then, you’ll get a nice emotional kick in the face to get you ready...

Der Name ist hier leider gar nicht Programm! Zumindest nicht bei dem Apartment das ich bekommen habe. Dies war im Souterrain eines Gebäudes. Auf der Rückseite hat man auf eine Betonwand geschaut. Vorne auf Höhe des Auspuff der Autos und Motorräder. Dadurch war es extrem laut sodass man ohne Ohropax kein Auge zu bekommt (dazu noch die startenden Flugzeuge direkt oben drüber) es hat wirklich weitaus normalen Großstadtlärm übertroffen. Die Einrichtung ist sehr einfach (nicht gehoben oder gar luxuriös. Über dem Sofa lag eine Decke, an den Wänden bröckelt die Farbe. Beleuchtung wie in einer Lagerhalle)

Pro jedoch die Lage! Direkt in der Innenstadt. Alles zu Fuß zu erreichen in unter 5min ebenso wie der alte Hafen. Auch das Bad war modern/saniert. Wenn man hier nur zum Schlafen ist (und man besagte Ohropax hat) geht's für 1-2 Nächte. Länger oder wenn man auch mal dort entspannen möchte rate ich...

Appartamento al terzo piano con piccola veranda per poter fumare. In posizione strategica per poter visitare il centro. Stanza da letto con letti comodi. Molto silenziosa e fresca. Bagno munito di vasca. Cucina con frigo, macchina del caffè, frutta, raki. Ottima connessione internet gratuita. Aria condizionata. Parcheggio al porto a 5 minuti per soli 3 euro. Supermercato vicinissimo. Il punto forte sono i proprietari. Gentilissimi, buon inglese, molto attivi tramite...
