AMAZING HOTEL!! Definitely 5 Star quality!! Caldera view. Where shall I start?
The service: Amazing!! We had transfers booked from the airport to the hotel. It was a nice private car, they upgraded us although we had booked shared transfer. When we arrived there was this guy that carried all our luggage to the hotel room! I mean there were A LOT OF STEPS. It's so nice they do that for you as you can relax from the first second. We arrived very early in the morning, so our room wasn't ready yet, but they had prepared for us a room where we could spend our time till we could go to our room. This room had a nice view, a comfortable couch and bathroom. Thanks for that, Maregio! The lady at reception, Chrysa, was extremely helpful and friendly, she explained everything we needed and gave us some good recommendations for the island. Generally all the stuff there is veeeery helpful. Exceeded my expectations!! And we had a bottle of white wine and fruits as s welcome present.
The Room: INCREDIBLE! We had the Deluxe suite no 10. Very clean, on the highest standard. (See pictures) Very big, refurbished and very nice style that suits the island. They have Netflix on TV and free coffee and water. The Bathroom was amazing, obviously super clean and with a view on the caldera. One of the nicest rooms I've been. Private massive Jacuzzi/Pool where the temperature is adjusted on your needs.
The view: Breathtaking. The hotel is in Oia. On the left there is the castle where everyone goes to se the sunset. So the hotel is at one of the best places in the island and you can watch the sunset in private, by the pool, relaxed and with a nice cocktail.
The Breakfast: They have a list in your room with the breakfast menu. You can tick what you want (all you want), take it the night before to the reception and the next day they bring it to your room. The Breakfast was very very good! Everything was so tasty and fresh and had a nice variaty.
I would definitely recommend this hotel in all aspects. As a travel agent I will recommend it to all my clients that want to visit Santorini. We had an amazing time and my expectations were exceeded. Will hopefully...
Read moreWe visited here for my husband’s 40th birthday. The hotel is beautiful, well maintained, clean. The staff are friendly, polite, professional, informative. ||There are definitely a lot of steps to get up and down to different areas but this is part of the nature of Santorini, it will be tricky to get the most from Santorini if you are not prepared to but a bit of leg work in!||When we arrived we were met by hotel staff who carried our baggage to the hotel. Hats off to these guys who carry the bags, it is a difficult job they do!||There was some issues with mains water supply to the accommodation during our stay, I have not marked the hotel down on this as it was completely out of their control, there was a shortage of mains water on the whole island due to cleaning being required from sands arriving from the Sahara. Santorini depends on desalination plants to provide clean utilities water, so I suppose there is always a risk of shortage. ||The hot tubs on the balconies are wonderful and it was worth it for us to get the deluxe suite with a hot tub. ||We especially found the use of WhatsApp by the hotel to be a very useful form of communication, we ordered meals to the room, sorted any queries out and confirmed bookings too. ||We rented a quad whilst on the island and managed to see the whole island this way, we’d highly recommend this. ||We also went horse riding-booked through the hotel-this was FANTASTIC! ||I have completed trip advisor reviews for parts of our visit to Santorini.||Thank you to everybody at Maregio for making our time in Santorini so wonderful. You went above and beyond to book our taxis when needed, trips and general...
Read moreMy husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Maregio Suite. We spent two magical nights there last june. The location was ideal—just a short walk from Oia Castle, where we enjoyed the world-famous sunset.||Our suite was incredibly spacious, featuring high ceilings and a large private balcony. As it's a cave room, the interior was refreshingly cool. The open-concept bathroom, complete with both a shower and a bathtub, added a luxurious feel. The standout feature was the balcony’s hot tub, offering serene moments as we watched ships drifting across the Aegean Sea. There were also two sunbeds for relaxing. In the hotel there are flights of stairs leading to different levels with different room types, and every few steps, a turn of the head will render you beautiful photo opportunities. Breakfast each morning was a treat, with a wonderful array of options—and even the breakfast selection form was beautiful. We loved savoring our meal while gazing out over the peaceful sea. ||A heartfelt thank you goes to Tasos, the receptionist, who responded to all my questions through email with enthusiasm before our arrival and went out of his way to fulfill our room request. At check-in, he gave detailed restaurant recommendations and marked everything clearly on a map. His genuine love for Oia shone through and made our visit even more memorable. The bell staff were also courteous, handling our luggage with ease and care.||Maregio Suite was the perfect choice for a romantic...
