Hostal Los Girasoles — Hotel in Flores

The Hostal is in a good area on the Island. Unfortunately that was the Most positive thing about our stay. The air in the room that we had, smelled Like mould. The staff tried to clean it the next day, but the smell persisted. It is Not possible to ventilate the Room and you Need more Mosquito spray to sleep than at tikal outside. Furthermore, a coackroach lives in the bathroom (under the sink in the hole). When the staff Starts preparing the coffee at 4:30~ they Are Not quiet and the walls Are Thin. 1 Star for the Location 1 Star because some of the staff was very nice and helpful Otherwise...

Excellent budget option in Flores. Has all the basics we were looking for (clean room with fan, clean kitchen, sitting area) without extras we don't use anyway, like TVs in the room. Our Room was more of a luggage compartment with a bed in it. Even though it wasn’t super dirty we didn’t feel comfortable.
