Hotel Acatenango Inn — Hotel in Sacatepéquez

This place is a gem. The room was perfect for me. It’s close to the toilet which is very convenient for me. The room was enough for 1 person. It gave me the privacy that I needed.

Location wise, I say it’s perfect. Everything is within walking distance. I didn’t need to use any public transportation.

The staffs were amazing. The lady by the reception was very nice and they really look into some of my request which includes knocking on my door at 2am just in case my alarm won’t wake me up.

The toilet did not work and we were told to share a public toilet. The public restroom was dirty. The hot water was not very hot. The shower head did not have good pressure and looked similar to a child's science experiment, with PVC pipes and wires coming out of the wall. There was no glass window in the bedroom, so any mildly warm water would escape through a barred hole above the shower. The lady working was very kind, so she earns a star for sure! This place is fantastic if you want to chill. I was really sick after driving all the way from Nicaragua (20 hours) arrived there at midnight, they accepted me without me having any reservation! The stuff over there are nice, they made me a soup in my first day, I decided to stay another night, I couldn’t get up I was sick, they ask how am I feeling and if I need anything.
