BpR Elite Apartments - Sky Terrace — Hotel in Budapest

Not great considering the price we paid...

Came here during formula 1 so prices everywhere were inflated. First impressions of the room was it was nice, decent amount of space and a little outside garden area with a sauna. Water and a few snack were provided too which was a nice touch. The shower was quite cool too, has 3 different functions. The location of the apartment was also close to alot of attractions so thats a plus.

However, the apartment itself was cleanish... Not but not great. Bathroom had a weird smell, not sure if it was from the cleaning products or what but wasn't too pleasant, and it didnt go away. The curtains at the windows are see through, so when youre asleep in bed theres nothing really stopping neighbours from apartments next door looking straight towards your bed, im sure that didnt happen but not a pleasant thought. Speaking of neighbours, on the last 2 nights theres was new people staying in the apartment next to us, who clearly don't know the different between a conversation and a screaming match. The walls are thin so you could hear everything, no need for an alarm when you have thr nextdoor neighbours shouting first thing in the morning.

Lastly, we received a text from the hosts that a technician will be coming to the apartment to do maintenance on the AC. Was a bit weird that somebody will be coming to the apartment during our stay but the AC was leaking and we were going out that say so we didn't mind since we thought the leaking AC will be fixed. When mentioning the leaking AC to the host they replied with "its normal for the AC to leak when in use, have you tried increasing the temperatue to see if it resolved the problem?". When its 35 degrees outside and the room is hot, with the AC leaking (AC located right abovwbthr bed by the way), the last thing i want is to increase the temperate, bit of a silly response.

Overall, not the absolute worst place, rooms nice and location is good but the see through curtains and leaking AC in the summer i definitely wont be...

You should book the apartment if you (including but not limited to):

don't want to check in before 3pm and have to lug your luggage around Budapest until then

want to use the sky terrace on the second floor surrounded by mid-rise buildings

think a 10g shampoo product sample per person is enough for 2 nights

want to chat with a chatbot

want to help the landlord get rich

are a group of significantly more than 2 people sharing...

Appartamento molto carino e con tutti i comfort possibili. Cucina ben attrezzata, bagno con box doccia davvero spazioso e ultima generazione. L'opzione da me scelta comprendeva anche una piccola sauna nel terrazzino davvero comoda per il periodo freddo. Infine un bel terrazzo al piano di sopra con sedie sdraio davvero carino. Piccola pecca saltava il wifi spesso e volentieri e un malfunzionamento dei termosifoni, per il freddo abbiamo compensato con il condizionatore. Qualità-prezzo...
