We stayed for 5 nights and it was the perfect spot. Walking distance to the many eating and drinking options in District 7 but also close to the Metro line and other bus routes including the hop on hop off your buses. The only slight downside was that the bed was very firm which didn't suit my husband's back too well and the utensils in the kitchen were limited (no bread knife or chopping board that we could see) but all in all it was pretty good and the owner was great and very accommodating. It was easily found via Maps, and walking distance from Budapest train station.
Located right next to the New York Palace, there are ample supermarkets and shops around.
The apartment itself is absolutely beautiful, and the architecture that gone into this design is amazing.
This really is best suited for just a couple though, as the fold out sofa bed is in the middle of the loungeroom and not particularly private.
But overall we would definitely stay here again. The rustic feeling of the building only added to the atmosphere...
