Ayu Homestay — Hotel in Pulau Bali

This place used to have a different name before as part of the family business and now they renamed it to this. I found this hotel thru another website and I decided to book it due to their high ranking and I'm so glad I did. Staying here was one of a kind experience. I stayed here for 5 days and I just had the best experience throughout my stay. They have a total of 7 rooms and since it is homestay, you are basically staying in a neighborhood. Owner and his family live in the same complex and they take extra care to ensure that everyone is enjoying their stay. Rooms are spacious enough for two people. No A/C though but they have ceiling and table fans(in some rooms) which is a unique experience. I stayed in the 2nd floor which has a great view. They have complimentary breakfast which I loved since you have few options to pick including pancakes, omelet etc. along with fresh fruits and coffee. Every room has a breakfast area outside where they have everything you need to make coffee any time of the day. They do offer pickup service from the airport for a price. In fact the owner Mathi picked me up and dropped me back as well. They can arrange transportation or tour tickets as well. His daughter Putu speaks English and primarily handles day to day affairs with the guests. They both are wonderful. I even hired him for a day trip to few places and he was nice enough to buy some freshly made banana snack on the way back to the hotel and offer some to me. How often do you see your hotel owner do that? The entire family was so caring and very helpful. Since this is located in monkey forest road, you are close to several restaurants and attractions like Ubud palace, Ubud market etc. are like 5 min walk. 100k per night (breakfast included) is very friendly price, and the breakfasts are really tasty and generous. The pancakes are incredible! The kind hospitable lady greeted us with care. Immediately brought a large thermos with boiling water, there were already jars of coffee and tea in our room, so coffee and tea are always available.

The room is clean, spacious, there is an AC and fan, mosquito fumigator, wardrobe, table, sofa and large bed. The hot water pressure is very good.

Sweet lady treated us with fruits, muffins and incredible "drunken" rice, which people here traditionally prepare for festive ceremonies. Tried it for the first time, it’s rare amazing treat🤪 This homestay is more than worth its money, a truly warm welcome. Definetly recommend! . .

100к за ночь (с завтраками) - очень приветливая цена, и завтраки вкусные и щедрые. Панкейки невероятные! Добрая гостеприимная хозяюшка встретила нас заботливо. Сразу принесла большой термос с кипятком, в комнате уже стояли баночки с кофе и чаем, так что кофе и чай всегда в доступе.

Комната чистая, просторная, есть кондиционер и вентилятор, фумигатор от комаров, шкаф для одежды, стол, диванчик и большая кровать. Напор горячей воды очень хороший. Wifi средний - то норм, то медленный.

Милая женщина принесла нам угощения - фрукты, кексы и невероятный «пьяный» рис, который они традиционно готовят для праздничных церемоний. Впервые такой попробовали, необыкновенное угощение 🤪 Это место более чем стоит своих денег, по настоящему радушный тёплый приём....

Great place to stay in Ubud. 3 min walk to the main street with cafes and restaurants. Located near to the Palace, Monkey Forest and other sights. Host were super nice, kind and welcoming. Tasty breakfast (you can choose options by yourself) banana or pineapple pancake, or rice with egg etc always served with fruits. When we just arrived in the hotel they prepared for us watermelon and hot coffee and tea. Always kindly responded to our questions and gave us a lot of pieces of advice about Bali. You surely enjoy clean bright room with terrace.
