BUYER BEWARE. Please ask for a RECEIPT each time and check and COUNT your change. This company is dishonest and will try to cheat you of your change. It doesn’t matter if it is 10000 IDR or 100000 IDR. It’s dishonest and a matter of principle. If they are cheating each customer a little here and a little there, imagine how much extra income they are making for themselves?! Would highly not reccomend coming to this place due to dishonesty.
They also put on the front of their menu they “charge 5% for tax and service charge” but when you go up and question them about it (we wouldn’t have questioned them if they had honestly given us a receipt as we had originally requested), they say “oh they actually charge 5% tax and 5% for service charge” (another money stealing scheme they have going on here). I honestly have NEVER been to a restaurant that is so dishonest and when you point it out to them in their face, they ALL give you attitude about it instead of apologizing, which customer service dictates, especially when there had been a mistake made!!
We actually enjoyed our meal of Nasi campur and Nasi goreng (this one not so much - tasted too much like prepackaged ramen and seasoning that they added other items like veggies to). We would have given it 3.5 stars for the food but due to the dishonesty of this restaurant and the attitude of the staff, the overall stars I would give it is zero.
When we asked for the receipt the first time, at the end of our meal, they asked us to go up to the cash register to pay (seems to be another way they can slip people’s change). They didn’t give us a receipt with our change when they handed us our change. After going back to our table and counting the change and calculating manually our menu items off the menu (since they didn’t give us a receipt), we found that the change was short about 10070 IDR. When we pointed this out to them, they innocently said they had given us a receipt (which they hadn’t) and accused us of pocketing the missing change (all we did was go back to our table which is within eyesight of the cash register and count our change)!!😦They rolled their eyeballs at us, threw us the extra change exclaiming, “is that enough now?!” They made it sound like we were at wrong/ nit picking when they actually were at wrong trying to cheat us.
Bottomline, VERY DISHONEST, UNETHICAL and UNPROFESSIONAL. If I want to give extra tip/ money (which I wouldn’t have give them a single extra IDR due to poor, poor customer service), that should be MY choice - not some dishonest establishment’s choice. Do not go here unless you want to...

🌟 5 THINGS I EXPERIENCED: 1️⃣ Ribs Recommendation 🍖: Suggested by a fellow traveler; my friend enjoyed them. 2️⃣ Affordable Prices 💸: Decent value for the quality of food offered. My wife and I enjoyed the wrap. 🌯 3️⃣ Seating Ambiance 🪑: Great spot to watch people strolling through the alleyway. 4️⃣ Quiet Restaurant 🍽️: Surprisingly empty, which may appeal to those seeking calm. 5️⃣ Restroom Access 🚻: Shared restroom nearby, though not the cleanest.
💬 PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: After exploring the market and feeling hungry, we stumbled upon Tinos Warung. A friendly German tourist suggested the ribs, which turned out to be the highlight for my friend. While the food was overall average, the prices were fair. The service could use some improvement; the waiter’s English was limited (2/5). The seating offered a nice view of the alleyway activity, though the lack of cleanliness in the communal restroom was disappointing.
💡 A FEW NOTES: 1️⃣ Service Quality 💬: Be prepared for language barriers with staff. 2️⃣ Cleanliness 🧼: The restroom experience may not meet expectations.

Read moreWe had the crispy duck rice and the bbq chicken. The former was good, but the latter, not so much. The chicken leg was tiny and the serving of fries small. Saving grace was that the food was decently priced. Stray (?) dogs seem to have free rein to walk in and out of the warung and will watch you attentively while you eat, hoping for a bite. Might be a plus for some but disconcerting for others as they’ll put on their most pitiful look hoping you’ll succumb. Unclear what the rules about feeding dogs in the restaurant are (ok, not ok, up to you?). Would be nice to have some guidance from the staff considering the dogs seem to be regulars. But otherwise a good experience at a good price point considering the alternative options in the walking vicinity. A hidden surprise tucked in...
