Cozy, beautiful, and comfortable stay with a lovely host in a convenient area of the city
The location is fantastic, off of a little side street and in the heart of the city near lots of restaurants, shops, spas, and the Monkey Forest. The host, Krishna, was wonderful and accommodating. The courtyard area is very beautiful and the patio areas were nice to enjoy in the morning. The air-conditioning worked well and my room was very comfortable. The shower had good pressure and the water got nice and hot. Although I declined a full breakfast, Krishna brought tea and fruit and it was lovely and fresh. The room was made up nicely with fresh flowers on the desk every single day.
As others have reviewed, there is a lot of noise from music at a nearby bar, but that is not the fault of Dimuwa and although I'm normally a very light sleeper, I found that it didn't disturb me very much. The faucet and the water shutoff valve in the bathroom both leaked but it didn't affect my ability to use the facilities.
