I arrived late at night, the road was dark and quite. I went to the hotel and Abang Wayan drove his scooter to the main street to carry my luggage and brought them all the way out to the room, for this I'm super x3000 grateful for him.

It's a family own hotel, so i get to get a glimpsed of the traditional balinese house and spoke to Ayu, one of the members of the family. Ayu shared many aspects of balinese lifes from her works, society, tradition of Bali.

The stay here was very relaxing and welcome. The hotel is beautifully overlooking a valley and complete with a small but relaxing pool. The room was spacious and have strong wifi. I meet some super friendly travellers there, some have stay there repeatedly.

Few things to note: Since the hotel overlooking the valley, there are many steps, probably more suitable for youngsters. There's no fridge in the room, but supermarket is nearby. No shampoo and body wash, but i bring my own anyway. The pool is cute and good for chilling, but probably not suitable for serious swimmer.

Overall, i'm very happy with my stays as all the attraction is nearby and reachable within walking distances. There are affordable warung right outside the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for...

I spent 3d2n here and it’s a bit disappointing. Despite its cleanness, the room’s smell was a lil bit disturbing. They cleaned the room at around 4pm, but I don’t know whether they cleaned it because I finally called the cleaning services or its the schedule for them to clean it late. I also didn’t get fresh towel in the next day.

Although I got free breakfast, I skipped it in the first day because I am craving vegan breakfast at outside. But I waited the breakfast at 9am in the cafe the next day, but it also took super long to prepare that. So I skipped it again.

The worst was one staff was running after me to ask whether I have made payment when I was on my way to check out and say good bye properly to other staffs. Of course I have made complete payment before the check in. It’s so silly, I never found hotel/cottage making payment at the last day, it must be when we do check in, also why don’t you guys check your system to assure first before asking. It is completely unprofessional.

Also the hospitality was below average, I know Balinese was well-known for their good attitude, but I think these staffs were not in that level.

Be better and hopefully you fix your...

I stayed around 10 days. Overall happy here. The staff very kind and helpful/ I changed room as I needed strong WiFi connection to work a little. Internet was mostly good (30-50mbps) sometimes drop on speed for 1-2 minutes but I think good for Bali! For casual use more than enough. Breakfast 2 choices omelet and banana pancake with fruit. Both were delicious and the coffee was traditional and fresh. Lovely chill lighting in the room with lamps and ceiling under lighting. Spacious balcony and solid desk and clean. Bed was comfortable it’s a standard double. Very quiet in general so sleep was good. It has a pool that’s nice to have snd an area with mats to do yoga, workout or stretching which I used a few times. I hope to come back. Location is also very good for first time here as walkable to center. Mini mart close by and a great Babi guling! Also very close to rice field so great if you like to take a peaceful walk without driving to get there. Looking forward to coming back! I used a bicycle to get around further to other restaurants and didn’t have to rent a scooter which saved a...

Beautiful place owned by a loving and caring family. Rooms are amazing and cleaned regularly, and comes with all the necessities. (Bottled water, laundry basket for laundry, kettle, air conditioning, towels, etc.) Stayed here for 4 nights and had no problems at all, the driver for this place was social and assistive as well! Breakfast was great in the morning, fruit platter was delicious and fresh! The family always says good morning/afternoon/night whenever they see you and smile! Pool is great, clean and good temperature for the heat! Location is amazing, located right outside of one of the Ubud Markets, you have stalls right outside your doorstep! As well as a lot of Ubud’s hotspots, like many markets, shopping, cafes, and the Monkey Forrest within a 20 minute walk! Very quiet here and cannot hear any commotion or noise despite being a market nearby. Very green, beautiful outdoor area and overall place to stay! Would definitely recommend and will be staying here again next time we arrive in Bali! 🌴🤍
