Pelangi Bungalow — Hotel in Pulau Bali

Paid around IDR170k at my staying. At first we planned to stay for around 4days, but bc usually we want to see if the room is nice or not, we always say that we might stay only for 1 night (if it s nice, we extend, if no- we check out). The guy showed us the room below, and i asked if we could get the room in the new building on 2nd floor, and instead of replying my question, he asked how many days we ll stay, so I answered "maybe one day". Then he answered that the room in the 2nd floor was full (which was not, bc we checked that there were empty rooms there until the next day). I guess he just didnt want to bother if the customer stays only 1night (eventhough they might extend if they got the nice rooms!)..|So, we see the room the bed was clean (thanks god for that!), small room, the bathroom seriously needs cleaning, noise from outside. Simply, we wont extend.|The only nice things for me were the friendly old man and tasty breakfast.|I know I ask too much for IDR170k, but since I travelled many times and could get really really nice hotels, so this one is a BIG NO for me.|So, I found another accomodation in ubud - a really nice spacey clean villa with swimmingpool for exactly the same...

well I love this bungalow.. cause it near from attractive place in ubud like ubud market, Puri lukisan, ubud palace, monkey forest, etc n near umah pizza that lovely cafe. the owner of this bungalow is friendly n kind. I'm coming with 4 others family members n we rent 1 room for 200.000 and 100.000 each for extra bed. they give us 5 foods for breakfast eventhough we pay for 4 foods.. n the ambience of bungalow is peaceful n nice too.. it has nice room n clean room the bathroom is clean too.. but if u come here by car u can park ur car in Puri lukisan then take a walk around 100m to the hotel. after all I love to stay here.. If I visit ubud I will love to stay here.. recommended place to...

Pelangi Bungalows are an excellent value with a great location near the central market, palace, temple, higher end shopping, and restaurants. The rooms are located off of a lovely interior courtyard. The rooms are very basic but clean and have A/C. At IDR 160,000 (about $11) they are really good deal for a budget traveler.
