I am absolutely smitten with the baguettes from this remarkable bakery in Ubud. The moment I took my first bite, I knew I had discovered something truly special. It's no wonder this bakery has earned my resounding five-star rating.

Great little bakery in Ubud. We have also been to the Sanur shop but the Ubud is better as their pastries are nicer (eg their pastries are flakier as they should be).

The Ubud shop serves up a variety of pastries and baked goods, baguette sandwiches and bagels. Couple days back when I wasn’t feeling well I had a couple of their baguettes, plain (delivered via Grab in a short time), and they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, albeit dense. If they were more airy on the inside they would have been better.

The bagels are awesome. We had them a few times, with simple fillings like cream cheese, tomato, ham and eggs. A perfect breakfast. I prefer these over Jewish style bagels. Something about Bali bagels gives it a great twist on flavour and texture and this shop delivers.

Their pastries are nice too although no where near as nice as some of the best we have tried in other parts of the world or in Bali. But if you need a quick French pastry fix they suffice. More flakiness and layers in their pastries is needed to bring them up to a higher standard.
