Sari Bungalow's — Hotel in Pulau Bali

What a great location, Jalan Bisma is our new favourite spot in Ubud Centre. Quiet at night, lovely lane that has now evolved a bit more with great affordable and excellent mix of cafes, restaurants, little shops etc. We loved our Stay at Sari Bungalows, room pretty newly renovated, new style rain shower etc, great water pressure, nice wide covered tiled deck area with chairs/table, long sideboard in room works well as a writing desk, offer jug/tea/coffee/fridge which for their prices is good value. Owned by a balinese family, the two young guys make an epic breakfast, see photos. They serve to you on your deck, no communal area for breakfast, but we are totally ok with that. Have been to Bali for 25 years, and must say these are the best pancakes we have ever had, with wonderful fruit topping. Generous plate of mixed fruit, their creative plate presentation showed us they cared about their task. Swimming pool gets sun, sunloungers, water fresh but great on a hot day. We even got a car park, as travelled by vehicle so they were accommodating to keep all the motorbikes to one side of the front area so we could park up. Definately will stay here again !! Can highly recommend if you are looking for a good value stay, and want to be able to walk to very centre of ubud on foot, or short scooter ride, or get a driver to pick you up right at your accommodation, this is...

This place was extremely cheap, which made me doubt its safety etc. but to my surprise, it was a very good place.||Slightly away from the main city area of Ubud but absolutely walking distance from the main street, this place was surrounded by all greens.||Very quiet and serene, this place is for all those people staying in for long durations. I would see a lot of guests staying outside all day just reading books in the veranda area/ balcony area.||The lady that manages the place is very sweet and kind. We reached here pretty late, around 10 pm or so. As the payment was to be made on the site, we were scared that she would have cancelled our booking, but she was waiting for us at the reception.||It is not luxury at all! But very very beautiful||Food can be a slight problem here, but there is a great pizza joint some 400 m down the street, towards the main road.||There is very minimal breakfast served at the bungalows, but their fruit salad and banana pancakes are great!||Would definitely recommend this place to economical travellers. Does not look like much, but it is a great experience.||They do accept final payment using card, at the reception.||P.S.: they did have a pool under construction when we left. Hopefully by the time you decide to visit, it will...

Very nice area, a few hundred metres off the main strip, easy walking distance to lots of nice restaurants/ships/market etc. Breakfast pancakes were the best we had in Indonesia and staff were polite. The swimming pool is a godsend...not too warm, not too cold... just right...great to relax with a large bintang! ||The breakfast service was good. |If I could give a tip...when toilet roll runs out, replace it...don't make people ask for it.||Also...when you see somebody struggling with bags, and 2 men are watching...offer to help...your tips will increase.||Staff on checkout billed us incorrect...genuine mistake I assume...as they billed us for 3 nights, but we stayed for 4...so as honest people, we corrected this and paid the proper price.||Very nice place, ddfinitely recommend...
