Fantastic selection, but the true gems within this store are the staff. They go above and beyond for their customers.

I've Rory to thank for introducing me to the hobby in summer 2024; he caught me admiring the minis from outside at closing time, and invited me back for painting and a gaming tutorial the next day. I had an absolute blast (even though Rory's tyranid army beat me handily) and I've been hooked on 40K ever since. Great teacher, and just a top bloke in general. Sarah helped me introduce my partner to the hobby as well, just this year. She taught us both how to play kill team, gave us tons of information on the hobby and how to best introduce our friends to wargaming. She was warm and funny throughout, and showed great competence, patience, and a clear love for her work and this hobby. My Mrs. was positively gleaming the entire time and is now proper stoked on 40k and AoS.

The shop itself is impressive: Well stocked, very clean, well located, and the minis on display are deadly. The staff are friendly and attentive, and it's a great way to spend 30 minutes or so (even if you've never tried mini painting or wargaming before).

5/5 - Give...

Amazing store and Staff! Shoutout to Rory and his colleague (sorry name has slipped my mind! They worked together the afternoon shift yesterday May 23rd. My friends and I came from Manchester to Dublin for 2 days, we visited the store and instantly felt welcome by the staff. We are very new to Warhammer & Rory took us right under his wing, explained the game to us, characters, backgrounds etc. He invited us to come create a figure and paint but we were short on time so we said we would visit the next day. We visited and spent a good hour and half working alongside Rory on learning more about the characters, creating our own figures, painting them and then we had the chance to play a game with Rory narrating and creating the story whilst giving us options on what we’d like to do. He then gave us some advice on what boxes to purchase, shown us some characters we may like, books, magazines etc. An amazing place and amazing staff, we felt welcomed right from the get go. Thanks for all your help Rory and co! We are heading to the...

What an exceptional shop! My friend and I stopped in today and had the absolute best time browsing. We’re total Warhammer newbies— when we told the staff that we knew next to nothing about it, they were SO welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating! It was obvious they were extremely passionate about Warhammer, and excited to share the passion! One staff member, Rory, walked us through a lot of fascinating intro 411 based on our specific interests! He even got us started with our very own minis, which we couldn’t stop beaming at when we left to have hot chocolate next door. Rory also took the time to walk us through a helpful beginner summary of some Warhammer books, and helped me pick one out! ALSO - shoutout to the young woman with red hair who talked to us about painting minis! We didn’t get her name, sadly! She was TRULY iconic. If you’re reading this — we love you, Queen!!! šŸ‘‘ We could have talked to her for the rest of the day. Funny experts are...

I didn’t know anything about warhammer before walking into the store and Cian immediately got me hooked! The employees were very nice and Cian is hilariously funny. His humor is top notch and made my day. His name tag should say ā€œcomedic geniusā€ underneath his name…dude was so funny and helpful. I asked what a dorky Irish name is to name my character and he said ā€œ Falun because it’s my cousins nameā€ šŸ˜‚. For new comers they introduce you to warhammer by letting you paint a character for free (great marketing strategy because I will now be spending all my money on this new hobby)

Excellent store with very friendly and helpful staff. I popped in the other day to pickup some paints having recently purchased the Avalon Hill HeroQuest remake. I'd watched a YouTuber speed painting tutorial and had his rather long/expensive paint list in hand, but the chap pointed me to a beginners set that had almost everything I needed! 25+ years since I painted a miniature, great to see this rewarding hobby is still as popular as ever! I'll be back for the Nuln Oil...
