I Fiori de'Mario Suites — Hotel in Rome

As everyone agrees, the location is great. Really enjoyable walks in the morning and dinner at night. 2 blocks from the Spain’s metro. This is not trivial - I once stayed at a Marriott in Rome that ended up being far outside the main sites and I had to pay for taxis every day which was a hassle.||The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. The room was quiet.||There was a complimentary bottle of water for my girlfriend and I to share.||The WiFi worked fine.||The place was clean.||The room was small, with no good place to put our luggage but the floor. It’s definitely not a suite. So, the name of the place is misleading. It’s basically just a few private rooms for rent in a residential building. It’s not like an AirBnB (no kitchen), it’s not a BnB (no breakfast), it’s not a hotel, it’s not an inn. The host calls it a guesthouse. I don’t even know what that is.||There is no concierge or full time staff so there are few resources to help you make dinner reservations or to plan your trip. We felt rushed at check in.||They offer a taxi from the airport, but charge more than a regular taxi (48).||Value. This place could be a great value at $100-$140, but the calculation changes as some full service hotels start at $150 so it depends on what you need and are looking for.||Our stay was pleasant enough, and no hard feelings, but I would probably not stay here again.||Overall, 3.5...

Amazing position walkable to many Rome attractions.|Lots of restaurants nearby including next door at Restaurant 34.|Very clean,comfortable beds(changed regularly)tea and coffee making facilities,good shower,|fridge in room was very useful.|Water replenished in fridge every few days,bed linen changed every few days too.|Daily service of rooms and bed making every day was great.|Bruno was very helpful by being there when we arrived (as it’s difficult to locate)he was very helpful via WhatsApp and available for any arising issues.|I’m confused though!|Reading facilities on Tripadvisor it states a minibar.|There is a fridge and the property provides some water/coffee/tea every few days and a few soft drinks...no minibar and no snack-bar/lounge.|I would describe the property as single apartments.|We had a small area between our room and our friends room where we could take chairs to sit and have a glass of wine together but this could prove an issue if there was someone staying in upstairs room/s as they would be disturbed.|Safe needs to be fixed as it could be carried away and wardrobe needs to accommodate dresses.|All in all we would return but it would be helpful if facilities could be described a little more accurately on site and Tripadvisor.|Be aware!!|There is no lift and an awful lot...

i Fiori de' Mario Suites are in a fantastic location, one street away from the Spanish Steps and in the heart of the shopping area. The suite we stayed in is super clean, well appointed, very spacious with large modern bathroom and the bed was one of the most comfortable in Italy. We had a pull out sofa for our family of 3 which was also very comfortable. Aircon was great especially with the heatwave in Rome and there were complimentary non-alcoholic drinks in the mini bar which was a nice touch. We were greeted at the apartment by Paola and Bruno (who helped with our luggage up the stairs (3rd floor)) on check in and check out. They were both really welcoming, helpful and provided great tips for restaurants and bars and organised a fantastic driver to the airport. ||Note - This suite is more like an Airbnb room, as there is no hotel reception desk but Paola & Bruno are great hosts, super accessible...
