Visited in Rome in mid-June and stayed in this excellent location, central to all the major attractions. The managers were very friendly and hospitable. Although we arrived at an inconvenient time, one manager rushed to the place with our room keys, even though he was far away. The rooms has real flavor of roman styles and architecture. The beds were comfortable. There is a good size living space where you can have your snacks and meals. a wide variety of restaurants on the ground level. I will stay here again with my family.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. ❤️ The room was spacious and clean, a little loud though as you could hear others talking, but if you’re just there to sleep it doesn’t bother. The staff were super friendly. They had free cold water (in the heat it was a saver), coffee, tea and croissants! The location was absolute best! You can go anywhere by foot and you have so good restaurants and cafes near by!

The hotel is located in the heart of historic Rome. You don't need public transportation to get famous attractions of ancient Rome (with the exception of vatican). Having said that, it is a very basic bed and breakfast with limited amneties. There is no frontdesk or permanent staff on the property and that could be an issue.

We had the worst experience with this hotel and it’s because of the owner/manager -i don’t know who he is, but i’m pretty sure he’s the most arrogant and rude man i’ve ever seen. I’ve booked for this hotel almost a month ago via Booking.com, a day before our reservation they sent me a message about my flight number, company name, landing time and if i request a private pick up from airport. I answered with all the information they’ve asked and said that we don’t want pick up, we’ll use public transport to get to the hotel. We managed to get to the hotel after two hours landing. At that point let me give you a shocking, brand new information, that you can not just grab your bags and leave the airport as you wish, there’s a queue for the passport control which can take more than half an hour sometimes and you wait for your luggage to arrive. Anyway when we get to the hotel that arrogant man greeted us and started yelling and yelling. The reason is he’s waiting for us for hours! Actually it took an hour for us to leave the airport and took an hour to get to the accommodation, we didn’t stop once even though we’re exhausted and starving. It’s not rocket science i think, an eight year old can do the math about the arrival time. So he yelled at us almost 15 mins and his voice got lauder every minute, his ridiculous wig was about to fall off. I said i’m sorry, which i believe there isn’t a single reason for us to apologise, but he continued anyway. It’s like he’s doing some charity work without any payment. He kicked us out and told us to cancel the reservation. I’m not sure if he could do the same thing if there were two guys instead of two young women. The only silver lining in this “accident” is we, luckily, found a much better place...

This has been one of the best hotels stays I’ve had, and I’ve stayed at plenty of affordable hotels. The location is amazing! The colosseum is about an 8 minute walk, there are so many good restaurants, shops, gelato shops, and atms nearby, everything is within walking distance! It is also in a very safe feeling location. ||The hotel itself is very nice, it’s clean, spacious, and it actually has an ac unit in the room! The bed was very comfy and the water pressure in the shower was great and adjustable. There’s a cute little lounge and patio sitting area with water, coffee, and tea available to us. There is a full size fridge and a microwave in the lounge that we can use as well. ||The hotel owner was a very good host. When we arrived he gave us a map of the city and told us where we should visit for food, attractions, and the best gelato! He definitely went above and beyond to make sure we had the best service! He helped us when we needed to find a testing site for Covid (flight requirement), called in a car service to take us to the airport, and always made sure we had everything we needed in the room. We had to stay an extra day because our flight got moved a day later and we were able to stay in the same room for a better price! This man really cares about his business and I will definitely be staying at his hotel again and if I have any friends come to Rome I will tell them to stay here. ||When we booked the room I thought the price was too good to be true or that there would be a catch but no! Rooms look exactly as the pictures show and I found nothing wrong with my stay! If you are debating to stay here, you...

Location: we struggled to locate the place; the building in which the inn is located did not even have a bell to buzz us in. We had to ring the bell of another hotel to buzz us in (we soon realised why that was the case, see check in below)||Lift: doesn’t work. So we had to lug up 3 large suitcases and 2 kids up the stairs ||Check in: the door to the inn was closed; kept knocking no one came. Then called the number on the door, to which the person who answered replied that he will come in 10 mins to check us in. On asking why there is no one to check us in, the reply was that “how am I to know when will you be coming”. This was so weird - because none of this was mentioned in the confirmation of the room booking||Check in process: the person who came to check us in was completely clueless about our the type of room we had booked; then spent 10|mins looking for the keys and then again showed us the wrong room. On clarifying at his end with the person who had taken the booking, he finally showed us the right room. All this while his attitude was that he is doing us a big favour by giving the room. Extremely rude attitude, not child friendly at all. I am surprised that with people like him at the hotel at employee or owner, this place still continues to be in existence ||Room: room was small, definitely not worth the price they charge||Breakfast: they will tell you that room comes with breakfast, but breakfast for them is packed cereals, so avoid the breakfast. The street downstairs has very good breakfast options. For that matter avoid the...
