VERY rude, probably racist owner, walked in with intentions of either consuming coffee or eating something, there was no host at the moment so we walked straight in and was literally kicked out with the owner assuming that we were going straight to the bathroom and that bathroom is strictly restricted for customers. NOT AT ALL TOURIST FRIENDLY, go if you want to be treated terribly and humiliated in public. I later took a picture to remember the name and leave the review and the older man, whom I assume is the owner had the audacity to sarcastically tell me to leave a nice review, here is your nice review of your racist treatment. -> adding on to the racist man reply: we went straight in because there was no one to host us and the people behind the counter didn’t even acknowledge us walking in. We assumed that the restaurant had tables in the back (i guess close to the bathrooms lol) and that it was a sit yourself kind of situation, logically, since there was no one to tell us where to go. you then decided to yell in front of everyone in your restaurant: “ ARRIVEDERCI, ARRIVEDERCI , bathrooms are strictly for customers, where i told you i wanted to consume and wanted coffee and you said : NO COFFEE ! And kicked us out. It doesn’t matter if it isn’t a bar, any restaurant in Europe sells coffee and the customer isn’t going to guess whether or not you have one. REGARDLESS, even if we only wanted to use the bathroom, it is ridiculous that you’d make such a scandalous scene toward tourists that are used to not having to “consume” for bathroom privileges. You should know that if you have so much experience serving “foreigners”. Like I said, this owner is probably racist, i see many reviews where people are treated poorly here or kicked out, not surprised it happened to me. May YOU have a good life, and should no one have the unfortunate luck of stepping into your restaurant and being discriminated. Do not consume here! Find somewhere that deserves your money. Side not here is proof that you do sell coffee! You are just an insufferable, racist, ugly person. last edit lol: you have nothing else to say and you showed yourself to be a liar after the coffee comment. That is enough .

I decided to come here solo one night. Some of the reviews raved about it being “the best food they’ve had while they were here” - so I was excited! I also saw that they had some dishes on their menu other than pizza and pasta, another reason to be excited when I’ve been abroad too long! The staff member who greeted me, got me seated, and attended to me was fantastic. He was funny, welcoming, and helpful. I was reading my kindle and it was leaning against my drink - when he saw that I had to move my kindle to take a drink, he brought me two stacked empty cups to lean my kindle on so that I could read and drink at the same time. One example of a staff member going above and beyond. The food, however, was not great. I ordered the spinach and ricotta stuffed ravioli and the lemon chicken. The ravioli were fine - you could tell they were not fresh. Some of the pasta had hardened in certain places, but it was still ok and tasted good. The lemon chicken however, you can see in the photo - lacks and color or seasoning. It quite literally looked and tasted like it had been prepared in a microwave. The sauce was lemony and buttery - which did make it a bit better - but overall this was not what I was expecting and was not good. I pushed through and ate it because I needed the protein, but I would not recommend this place for food. Drinks are cheap, 7 euro each - so maybe stop for an aperitivo, but find your dinner elsewhere.

From time to time in life you may stumble upon a place that is humble and unassuming in its decor and setting but in some way and somehow it wows you. This restaurant, for us, was such a time. From the moment we walked in to the time we left, we were serenaded by American music from the 50s-2000s via YouTube from a giant flatscreen TV. To compliment that, the owner, a retired manager of a catering service to celebrities such as Elton John and Amy Winehouse and more, regaled the patrons with stories of those past days. Furthermore, a local TV personality was filming a commercial for the restaurant. Needless to say, it was a unique and memorable experience. Basically, we had dinner and a show. Speaking of dinner, my family and I had the lasagna and tomato basil spaghetti and of course with bread. All was delicious. The only complaint I have is that I wish the lasagna was bigger. The atmosphere and food are great. The seating is very limited inside but like most restaurants in Italy, there’s more outside. The welcome and feel of being part of something unique is incredible. Enjoy.

Went into the shop and asked if they had capuccino, an elderly man with white curly hair grumpily said “No!” Which was lying because his menu stated capuccino.

He saw me looking at the menu and then changed his line “ No capuccino unless you buy food to eat” , saying it in a irritated and impatient manner and walked off and ignored me.

Worst service ever, to all future customers, there are many better restaurants and cafes around here, pls take your euros to somewhere where they appreciate your business.

Add on information after owner reply : It was 1pm in the afternoon and there were 3 empty tables on the outside of the restaurant. I was alone in the restaurant. It WAS NOT CROWDED as you claimed.

I also did not say that I was not going to order food. I only asked about whether "Do you sell cappucino?" You assumed that if I asked whether you have a cappuccino, I was not going to order any food. It was your own assumption in your own mind. I may have ordered a little snack to eat, but after your rude response in a rude tone, of course, I was very unhappy and I rather take my Euros elsewhere to another shop.

A search of your reviews show many 1 star reviews of customers saying that your food is not nice, saying that your staff is rude.

In my opinion, you are just rude, with a rude behaviour towards a customer who asked about whether you have a cappucino. That is the fact. I did not comment on the quality of your food as I was too displeased with your rude behaviour to even bother...
