This is my second time staying in M’s related hotel. The location is one of the attractions and the previous stay in other M’s hotel leaves me a good impression. ||I think it should be a young hotel because of the modern decoration. The management is new to me as well. You can do the check-in by yourself. One thing I questioned was that I needed to pay a deposit. I am not sure if it mentioned when I made the reservation through the agency. ||Comparing with normal hotel in Japan, it is a spacious one. The air-con is easy to control. I slept with the comfortable temperature. Every morning I want to keep laying in the bed, haha. The room is clean. The hotel rule is that it will have house-keeping every 3days. I don’t know how you can ask for a daily one if needed, but it is fine for me.||The window is facing to Kyoto Tower. I seldom staying in a room with any view! Also unlike normal Japan toilet and shower room, there is not a huge step to the toilet. ||After staying for 3nights, I find there is an opportunity and also a risk. The room lock is using password so I am glad that I don’t need to keep a key card. However,as there is not a staff staying at front desk, the main entrance is also locked with password. Although there is a phone placed calling the staff for any contingency, it will be trouble if the electronic lock comes with problem, especially for the main entrance. ||Overall, I am satisfied with the stay. I will consider coming back when I come to Kyoto or choosing other M’s Hotel in other...

There is a microwave in the room. The room has a combination lock and a password is required to enter the door, but there is one thing to remind him that this hotel has Although the two locations and the other one are not far away, if I make a mistake, Google Maps will lead to a very far road. I just went wrong. At that time, I wondered why it was so far away, so it was not so close. It turned out that it was too early and the time had not yet arrived. After checking in, the front desk said that we can’t check in first to get the card. We just stored our luggage and we came to check in at 11:00 p.m. Then another guy at the front desk told us that we were wrong, so we must get the name and address right, especially...
Read moreBooked 3 weeks in advance because no other option was in my budget range.
Arrived at 2 PM; no receptionist. Self check-in.
I didn't know whether the tap water was drinkable, so I bought water from 7-Eleven.
The receptionist seemed to speak neither English nor Japanese. We asked for tissues at night to clean the laundry room, showing her English and Japanese text; she did not understand.
The laundry machines were also expensive (we stayed at Sotetsu Osaka and used the same machines); this hotel had an additional sticker price on top of the original price.
If you are going to Japan just looking for a place to sleep, this is okay. Just bring everything you need and don't expect...
