Our daughter who lives in Japan with her husband booked this amazing restaurant! Even though weather conditions led to the cancellation of their train, my husband and I went along to one of the most unexpectedly delightful and delicious dinners! A double shot highball for hubby and a hot sake for me. We were given a yummy cold cream of potato soup as an amuse bouche. The English menu was available through a QR code and our waitress Yurine was attentive and helpful - although we needed to use google translate! This actually added to the fun atmosphere. We ordered an incredible potato salad topped with a perfectly poached egg and micro caviar, and several chicken Yakitori skewers. What a find. We paid approximately AUD $33 per head and that included 10 skewers and 2 double shot high balls and 2 180 ml sake jugs. Affordable, sensational food, great service and an awesome place to eat. Food was overpriced and the quality was mid. It wasn’t bad but definitely did not worth the price.
When we refused to leave a good review (in exchange for the free desserts), the waiter refused to let us pay by card and simply turned his back towards us. We felt disrespected and ignored.
Service was mediocre, and they reluctantly gave us water when we asked.
TLDR: there’s plenty of good-quality food (at reasonable prices and with good service); don’t...

The food did not disappoint. I ordered the yakitori assortment and every skewer was amazing. I also tried the grilled avocado with salmon cream cheese and the cheese sausage — both delicious. I paired it all with a refreshing lemon sour, which went perfectly with the meal.
The atmosphere was cozy and lively, the food was fantastic, and the staff were very friendly. While they don’t speak much English, they do offer an English menu and are very willing to help. I absolutely loved the experience and would definitely...
