Arashi Hotel Shinsaibashi — Hotel in Osaka

Pros: Location is close to lots of shops, restaurants, nightlife and the river but is on a quieter street. -Triple bed room on 8th floor was pretty quiet. -Beds are comfy if you like them firm. -Whirpool bathtub for soaking

Cons: -Our room would've been even quieter if the front door would actually close all the way, but there was a tiny gap. -Barely any room to walk around with our luggage open. -Barely any hooks/hangers for our clothes. Only a couple hooks in the bathroom (for towels/clothes) so took a while for wet things to dry. There were NO hooks at all in the room with the tub/shower. -Service was a bit disappointing for a hotel as the front desk couldn't call for us to inquire about businesses or reservations considering we didn't have the ability to call from our phones with only data service as tourists. -Also, our friends have stayed at various hotels that have had luggage delivery service on site, but this one doesn't so we had to go to Family...

The hotel is worth for family groups up to 5 people. However, the room services are not that good as they don't have an actual receptionist to serve, you have to make a call from the front desk tablets to call the service center to request the room cleaning service. Also, my family group faces that their bed frames broke when we reported to them, they do nothing and didn't compensate us at all.But overall, it is a good cost-performance place to have long-stayed in Osaka center part. I would definitely recommend family groups to have a nice stay. However, if your group is smaller than 5 members(like 3 or 4 people), I recommend you to stay at a hotel to have a good service instead of this kind of...

For the 3 of us room with 2 beds is definitely small. No wardrobe cabinet just small dining table and chairs, and small side table. It has a small tub/jacuzzi but were kinda scared to try because it looked old and dilapidated. Cleaner will clean room only if you book for 4 days or more, first time in a japanese room that wasnt that clean at all. It has a coined laundry wash and dry groundlfoor back room (scary area) esp if youre alone. Bed was comfortable enough. Only good side to this hotel is very near Shinshibashi and Dotonbori. Plus lots of restaurants around it, family mart and 7/11 also nearby. But i think we wont be coming back here and will try other...
