The atmosphere is modern and stylish. It has a young and casual vibe.
From the side walk, it seems very small, but surprisingly the interior and patio can seat a decent amount of people.
Interior: 1 (or 2?) four-person table tops, a bar seating, 3 two-person seats against the wall across from the kitchen.
Patio: 2 four-person table tops, about 8 seats on the bar overlooking the canal.
It gets pretty packed quickly during lunch time. My friend and I went on a Sunday around 13:00.
We sat on the patio and there is self serve water and ordering is through QR code.
The items are pretty pricey to be honest. But this is standard for vegan food in Japan.
I received my meal first and there was quite a long wait between my order my and friend’s item. We actually got the truffle fries last. Which, was disappointing as we both agreed they were mediocre and not worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend them unless you enjoy crispy and skinny fries with the whisper of truffle.
I think we came in on an extremely busy day so I believe the staff were slammed but the flow of orders seems a little messy.
It was a good experience, will go again on a hopefully...

Owner was rude and seemed disorganised. We waited 10 minutes for a table and when we were guided in he seemed flustered and abruptly told us to wait 10 more minutes ( while the cafe was only half sat ) for the table which turned into an extra 25 with no communication from staff. Seen arguing with staff members, it’s all very sad seeing that it’s located in such a beautiful spot.
Upon being sat we ordered on through the webpage as it is self service and they somehow messed up our order giving us more expensive options than we asked for and if we hadn’t realised ourselves they would’ve taken advantage of our confusion. I have never experienced anything like this whilst being in Japan. The first untrustworthy business so far.
When the food arrived the flavour was alright, though the portions are small for the price. Coffee was bland and watery. Love supporting vegan but this one should move over for someone else. Though the other staff were lovely.
Avoid this place...
Read moreAn absolute 5-star experience all the way through. Checked this place out this morning during my daily 10k walks. Absolutely delighted to have found it. The price-to-quality ration here (in other words, value) is as good as it gets. Prices are an absolute bargain (special thanks to the JCB for that one), if you're visiting from abroad. Even by local standards, considering the area - I can't see how paying 600-800 yen for a delicious, nutritious, and attractively presented breakfast can be seen as anything but a treat. I'll be in the area for the next three months, and have already adjusted my daily morning cardio route, just to ensure I'll visit this place often for breakfast. Services was warm, and the decor (with a great view) was a plus. 5 stars all the way. And I'd give them a sixth star if we were possible merely for being all-vegan. ;) Not to be missed if you're...
