Such a beautiful hotel, we stayed for 5 nights, with access to all the lounges in Sakura and Grand Prince hotel also. The room and service was outstanding, so spacious and bright, we had new slippers delivered daily, the match making experience was a highlight for my 13 year old son. We used a stone mill to grind matcha for our dessert. The restaurant options were also incredible, some need 5 days to book so do the research and prebook. The massage chairs in the relaxation lounge were a blessing at the end of the day after a lot of walking! We also had the massages at the spa. The gym is really well equipped and the garden is so pretty in the evening. It was my son’s 13th birthday trip and they gifted us a non alcoholic sparkling apple juice too. Our luggage transfer was sent 4pm the day before our arrival to our next hotel in Kyoto. Just...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed three nights at this marvellous hotel. We felt extremely spoilt - the service was superb. We were met at the door and escorted to the lounge on our arrival from our long plane trip with cool towels, a drink and sweet treat. The Japanese breakfast served in the hotel lounge is wonderful and we were able to use all the lounges for the three hotels on site. There were two outdoor pools which I was looking forward to using but my husband forgot his togs, so we didn't but impressive - given the very hot weather. Throughout the visit we were treated like royalty. To Sakura and all the wonderful team, thank you so much for your hospitality. We look forward to our...

Housekeeping was almost invisible yet impressively precise in their work. The rest of the staff, meanwhile, were elegant without ever standing out, blending seamlessly with the hotel itself.||I especially loved the harmony of tatami and wooden floors in the room. My only regret was the empty tokonoma, a small detail that could have been the final capstone of flawlessness. I am already looking forward...
