Homesuite' Jesselton Quay — Hotel in Borneo

Really mixed reviews of the homesuite at jessleton! Bad: when we arrived the suite stunk of stale cigarette smoke and the bathroom was smelt very strong of smoke. We immediately notified the 24/7 customer service by WhatsApp and they totally ignored us. Then they messaged us about check in procedure ignoring our complaint so we replied with our complaint and they said they would send someone to look at the room, despite being there for 3 days this never happened. The ceiling fan also has mould on it and the selector for the shower to goto rainfall has snapped so you couldn’t select it! The switch was neatly placed to the side so they knew about it. Room is clean and spacious but the check in experience is very bad. Homesuites gave us the wrong code for the lockbox. Not very clear on how to open it. Spent almost 1 hour trying to pry open the lock box. I even broke my nail.

We even called customer service but no one answered. At least they answered our query through text on WhatsApp.

Do not book if you are coming here without any internet. There is a chance where the codes they give you will be wrong.

We had two families staying in the Seaview 3 bedroom apartment. Check-in was simple even when we were earlier than expected. Close to some great ammenities like restaurants and laundromats.
