Old Budget Hotel — Hotel in George Town

I recently visited Penang, Malaysia with a friend for leisure.|As the trip was abruptly planned, we did not had a reservation planned..I made a last minute booking at this place and found out that the location of the hotel remains nice, in the heart of the city..and near to the bus station, shopping malls, food places.||The facilities are pretty common, I wish they had a laundry but it's ok to have something in a hostel price tag.||The washroom remains small, ok for a 5 foot six inch person like me, but if you taller than that, then I suggest to do point that out to the...

The hotel room very small , other than bed , pillow , tv , mirror there is nothing else. The washroom is pity small you can't even turn if you enter. No water boiler provide inside room you must go to 1st floor end of the corridor to boil ur own hot water. The staff very friendly here, night time got one guard sit on the main door to make sure only the hotel customer can enter. there is a dim sum shop just beside this hotel and Dai Pai Dong around 2 to 3min walk. beside that souvenir shop just...

I highly recommend this accommodation. You can check in early. The owner is very kind and helped lend you a portable charger (I'm Indonesian). To the owner, my husband and I are very grateful. We were able to stay even for one night, but it felt like home. The area is very easy to find food, the supermarket, the bus stop, and the soundproof room is not disturbed by outside noise.
