Douhua, also known as tofu pudding, is a traditional Chinese dessert that has been enjoyed for centuries. It's made by coagulating soy milk and then pressing the curds into a soft and silky pudding-like texture. Douhua is often served with sweet syrup, fruit, or other toppings and can be enjoyed either hot or cold.
As someone who loves trying new foods, I was excited to try douhua for the first time, and I was not disappointed. The texture of the pudding was incredibly smooth and silky, and it almost melted in my mouth. The sweetness of the syrup complemented the subtle flavor of the tofu perfectly, making it a light and refreshing dessert.
One of the things I appreciated about douhua was how versatile it is. It can be enjoyed as a dessert or even as a breakfast food, served with savory toppings like soy sauce, chili oil, or green onions. The range of toppings means that you can customize the flavor to your liking, making it a versatile and exciting food to try.
Overall, I would highly recommend trying douhua if you have the chance. Its unique texture and subtle flavor make it a refreshing and satisfying dessert or breakfast option. Whether you're a tofu lover or just looking for something new to try, douhua is definitely...

I got the Beauty Soy Beancurd as it has peach gum which I like. There is also honey pearls and snow nest. We can choose the type of sugar and I chose brown sugar, mild sweet.
I was pleasantly surprised that additional brown sugar syrup was given together with milk and grated peanut. The plating itself is very appetising. It was a very generous portion which 2 persons can share. The soy beancurd is very smooth and light with a tint of soy fragrance in both taste and smell.
