Budget place that's fortuitously found itself right next to the new and mammoth TRX mall with the new MRT station next to it. Reasonable rooms for the price. Easy walk up a hill to Bukit Bintang and all that's there.
Don't book with Agoda! These incompetent morons left me stranded in KL on a stormy night with no local SIM card or currency (they actually cancelled whilst I was in the air and on the way.) They then offered a refund and $60 but as I'd booked in advance these idiots should have known it would be impossible to get anything like that deal on the night. I then asked them to find a similar alternative - they said they couldn't. I then booked exactly the room they cancelled through Agoda! Hilarious. The customer service in the company are an absolute disgrace - they kept offering me insulting amounts and at one point I was £496 out of pocket because of their incompetency and through no fault of mine. After wasting a few days of my trip sending acrimonious and extremely forthright emails, (100 at least!) they finally refunded my money to me along with their usual worthless and insincere apologies.
AVOID AGODA AT ALL COSTS!
They attempted an even more egregious and deplorable act of money grabbing last year also when I was duped into booking an 'Agoda Preferred Property,' which turned out to be disgustingly dirty and dangerous - Agoda uses 'newly added' and NOT 'newly taken' photos and if you look at reviews and stories about Bali Rich Villas in Seminyak Bali, you'll see that I am one of many duped similarly. They did finally refund the full amount but not until I'd sent 200 plus extremely angry emails, with video and photographic evidence.
Agoda are a deplorable and unscrupulous company that is also incompetent and then attempts to make the customer liable for Agoda's many errors and misleading property information.
Check every photo Agoda uses with those on better platforms. They admitted an Agoda Preferred status is simply bought by the property so basically it's a scam. Bali Rich Luxury Villas id easily the worst villa or hotel I've ever seen yet to look at Agoda's photos, you'd think it was paradise,
Fortunately, whenever I have to use this parasite company and vdo and photograph check-in, the property and every detail as Agoda simply cannot be trusted to act ethically unless...
Read moreI stayed for 2 nights (last week) and arrived early at 5 AM. I couldn’t check in early because the hotel was fully booked, but the staff kindly allowed me to rest on the sofa. I felt safe—thank you! The lobby facilities were excellent. there is water dispenser, comfy sofas to rest on, and toilet. The staff were very nice—again, thanks a lot!
As a Muslim, I appreciated that the hotel was close to a mosque, and I was able to pray Fajr there. I think the staff would have let me pray in the lobby too since they also pray there, but I was too shy to ask, hehe. they provided a prayer mat in the room, which was very thoughtful.
For the room, no deposit was needed—just a tourist tax of RM10 per night. I booked a Deluxe Queen room for RM105/night and shared it with a friend, so it was quite affordable. The room was very small (already described in Agoda) and didn’t have a window, but I still think it was worth the price. They give you wifi, electric kettle, drink, mug, tea, coffee, prayer mat, and hot shower, I could pray inside comfortably, and we didn’t spend much time in the room anyway. There's also an iron available in front of the lift on my floor.
The area around the hotel is great—lots of restaurants, a café right in front, and a 7-Eleven nearby. It’s within walking distance (about 500m) to Pavilion, Lot 10, and Fahrenheit (also TRX, though I didn’t go there). Just a heads-up: the road to the centre of bukit bintang is a bit uphill 😬. I usually took the MRT from Bukit Bintang rather than TRX 😅, but if you're going to KLIA, it’s cheaper to take the MRT from TRX to Putrajaya Sentral, then transfer to the KLIA Transit—only RM13 total!
Totally...
Read moreI stayed here always for only one day stop if i arrive midnight in KL. If you want a nice sleep, trust me it was horrible. The wall as thin as paper, you can hear your neighboor cough or even spit, even if they crumble a plastic you can hear it clearly in your room.
Basic hygiene is not met. But i think it was bearable for this kind of price. The only good thing is it was close to Pavi and Berjaya, nice location and the receptionist was nice everytime i came though.
But for now i was really dissapointed with them and wont even stay here again, i left my diamonds earrings on table, try to reach out to 'em on my way to airport but no answers so i thought ok la they call me out later since they saw me stay there a few times. But the next day i try find their whatsapp number they told me its not there and suddenly show pic of some unknown necklace which they said from my room 😀 Definitely a complete disaster for a 3 star kind of hotel, its a 3 star hotel, at least they must check every room and keep customer belongings, not try to keep it for themselves. No matter how i beg to give it back since its a wedding gift, they wont care. Yes im pretty sure they find it because it was on the table and so shiny, people would notice that. I still hope the management read this and investigate all of their staff, since i stay here a lot and they should prioritize...
