Langgura Baron Resort (735165-U) — Hotel in Langkawi Island

I have been booking flights and hotels through Trip.com for a while now. bUt never been disappointed like this. I chose this hotel (?Resort) after reading the recent reviews. I dont know how this hotel got ＞4 ratings? You have to enter with your luggage through backdoor. first thing you experience is a nauseating sticky smell. We arrived at 11pm. Reception staff don't know any English! no attendant to help with your luggage! same smell in the corridor as well. Once we entered the room, It seemed that nobody lived here for long time. same smell in the room as well. However, smell of the room gone after some time once we on the AC. The hotel staff should know, we are coming and full four nights rent was paid in advance. If AC takers the smell away, they should have done that before.in the bathroom, lower tap was not working! to wash your feet, you have to do it with overhead shower (that's disgusting).we realised, there is no ventilation in the corridor, hence, the smell remains stuck there. once you open your door, that smell immediately entered into the room.we complained this next day at the reception who luckily knew some English. I aske him to let the authority know this problems. He politely advised me to write in the review.only good this in the hotel is very spacious room, good linens and near the beach. you can see the sea from window. but if you cant stay in the hotel, how could you enjoy the scene. Unfortunately we have to leave the hotel after two nights. Need not to say, rest two nights rent was not refunded as we booked...

Coming for 2nd time to this Hotel Book for Super Deluxe room sea view (3D2N) 1.I Was arrived a bit early 1PM than check in time the staff mentioned need to wait till 13.30PM then its okay we go somewhere to eat(Cenang Mall) We got our room at 13.30PM thanks to the staff(reception) for get us room ready as we informed 3.Our Room is 301 and i believed its my room previously stay(2018) 4.I thought this hotel was upgraded or renovate something for this year 2022,its nothing good as my expectation(there no more bath tub,there no TELEPHONE IN THE ROOM(most common thing)don't have any telephone in the room there are no restaurant the TV chanel is in bad condition the safety box is in broken condition .view facing sea but cant see sea view from my room block by the tree. 5.Thank you for the housekeeping that cleaning our room for the second day. 6.I choose this place because the location and maybe there a newly upgraded in term room and service, or restoran but its more getting old and old without upgraded term on room condition,this hotel win because the location but facility very low expectation. 7.I might not be coming back to this hotel due my experienced this visit its not meet my expectation. 8.Hope that owner or management will get renovate in term of facility and room condition in future. 9.Yes, i now its a budget hotel and we expect too much its not reliable but its a still money was spending and your doing this business is for money, please give something to your customer whoever visit your hotel...

Absolutely disgusting!!! We booked a Deluxe room, upon arrival there were dead small insects in the fridge, hair on the floor, stained bathtub and sink, dirty marks on the bedding… I complained at reception and then they downgraded us but to a room that at least didn’t have dead insects. The hair, grubby marks and filthy floor were still all apparent, however. Oh, but we didn’t get the bathtub on our downgrade (with no refund or money back, just to add). I woke up after 1 night with a sore throat and a nasty cough, a not-so-nice welcome gift that is ruining the rest of my trip around Malaysia.Also, after walking barefoot in the room and then stepping on a towel, there were thick black grime marks. I asked housekeeping really nicely if they could please clean the floor - they said yes no problem - and not only did they not clean the floor, they took our towels without replacements, and didn’t replace the other consumables! Another trip to reception just to get clean towels… which, to no surprise, weren’t even clean 🤦🏽♂️I don’t usually leave reviews, but I really hope that this can help at least one person not ruin their holiday, as Langkawi itself is beautiful, but staying in this hotel really ruined our shirt trip away in Langkawi. I would strongly advise anyone whose values health and hygiene...
