Read moreAll the staff at the Norbulinka Boutique Hotel from the receptionists to the barman to the waiters were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. ||We were offered drinks on arrival & our luggage taken to our rooms. The rooms were comfortable with nice, comfy beds plus a flat screen tv, free Wi-Fi, a kettle & coffee (no tea though) and a walk in shower with plenty of hot water and free toiletries. ||The rooms were cleaned every day & we received 2large bottles of water each day too.||A very good buffet breakfast was served, with different hot dishes available including omelettes, chicken sausages, mini garlic potatoes, freshly cooked vegetables and some curry dishes plus cereals, juices & teas. The restaurant also serves very tasty dinners including delicious mimosas and thalis served with a refreshing bottle of Gorkha beer and their specialty - Nepalese rum with honey & hot water which we had every night.||The hotel is in North Thamel in a vey convenient location and close to the many restaurants and stalls of Thamel.||Well worth seeking out as a very good value Hotel close to the action in the heart...
