Not sure how the hotel garnered so many excellent reviews. I stayed in this place at the start and end of our trekking trip as organised by the local guide mid December. We arrived late (after 11pm) and the lift was not working. Luckily our luggage was handled by the staff to our room else it would be a nightmare to lug them up 4 storeys. The toilet and bathroom is run down. The towels have turned yellowish and some with stains so we decide to use our own. Beds were sunken. When we were back to the hotel for our last night in Nepal, we were given a room which was not made up. They changed us to another room but one bed was missing a pillow. So staff conveniently went to the earlier room to take one pillow from the bed that was not messed up to pass it to us! Read moreI had the pleasure of staying at the hotel before and after my Everest Base Camp trip with Take On Nepal company. It was an enjoyable stay. My hotel room was neat and tidy with modern facilities and air-conditioning. They were considerate enough to have bottled water, an international power point adapter and a spare pair of slippers.
