I stayed at Paradise Guest House far longer than expected because I had such a great stay. The place has an irresistible charm with everything you need, including one of the best roofs in the city. I spent a lot of my time throughout the day up there reading, with a stunning panorama of Kathmandu in the background. ||There was some really delicious food, including a great value breakfast with a hot drink of your choice. I also often enjoyed some of the tasty bakery items and coffee that was on offer at the front of the building. I ended up staying for over a week and slept soundly every single night. ||The Guest House is situated in a fantastic location on the fringe of Thamel, so you don’t get hassled like you do in Thamel but if you need anything touristy it’s only a very short walk away. ||One of the main reasons my stay was so comfortable was due to the friendly staff. In particular, the manager Surya was extremely helpful. He speaks very good English and whenever I had a query he would give me an honest answer at no cost. This included him getting me the best possible bus prices to Pokhara and Chitwan National Park, as well as when he helped me post some items home I no longer needed.||Overall, thank you to all the staff at Paradise Guest House for making my time there as good as it could have possibly been. I look forward to returning when I visit...

Read moreIn Kathmandu we had stayed in different places but for the last month we were coming back to this guesthouse. The price was perfect for the location and for what rooms they offer. One time we came late in the evening and still they could accomodate us. Beside it was possible to make the laundry, buy ticket to Chitwan, help with arranging the taxi, they have a real coffeemachine. From the rooftop you can see Monkey temple and enjoy your time as they do not use it commercially. I very much appreciate also the privacy of this place. The rooms are simple with clean...
