This place is disgraceful. We had just come back from Salkantay 5 day trek tired and just wanting to sleep and shower. We came to the hotel and we were meet by this road woman who had not checked her booking.com notifications. Instead of being honest with us she then modified the booking for the next night and told us that she had not got the booking til the next night. |Booking.com notified us that the booking had been modified. We showed her the confirmation for the night and also the fact that booking notified us that the room had been changed. We explained that we were aware that she had chnaged the booking and that it was not our mistake. She then proceeded to blame booking. My husband and I spend a few nights at this hostal and extended our stay two times. The rooms are clean, big and comfortable. Though in Winter it is quite cold, but you can rent a heater which works pretty good. But the showers have constant hot water, which is a big plus! At the reception they had a hair drier. Breakfast was very tasty with a wide range of choices, they even pack you lunch boxes if you miss breakfast because of a daytrip. Hosts/ staff were extremly friendly and helpful. They allowed us to leave our big backpacks behind for free, while we did a trip to Machu Picchu and they were extremly flexible with check-in and check-out times (had to leave the hotel in the middle of the night for one tour).
