Puerto Requena — Hotel in Iquitos

Arriving in Iquitos tired, with lots of luggage and no place to feel safe, this hotel was a welcome surprise. I hadn't seen it in the Lonely Planet, but we ended up talking with the staff on the street and they were very helpful. For the price this is a clean and well run hostel. The rooms are small, it can be noisy up front, and there are no common areas, but the price is right. ||||It is walking distance to belen market but who cares, for s/ 2 you can go anywhere downtown by moto taxi. ||||If you need a large room with A/C and common areas then I suggest you look elsewhere.
