We stayed here for 7 nights. July 2025 I would give this 2.5 stars if I could. At first they put us to the wrong room at second floor and my husband complained about it then we got transferred to the third floor into a room with a window, which is a bit better.

The downsides: poor wifi connection in the room. Electricity goes on and off means no air-conditioning. No room cleaning unless you ask. No fresh towel unless you ask. No complimentary tea or coffee in the room or water and kettle what so ever. No hair dryer. You must ask the front desk how to use the safety box as no instructions and they will only send someone after you call for follow-up. About 30 minutes later you'll have someone tell you the lock does not work and you will be given a key to lock it. You are only allowed one pool towel each per day! When our son jumped into the pool we were told very quickly by the pool attendant - No splashing water? and yet the hotel allowed noisy karaoke by the pool that went on for hours all afternoon and into the evening. Constant early morning swimming lessons and yelling by the swimming coach which was incredibly noisy. Some staffs are friendly some are disrespectful. One morning we're at the breakfast buffet and my son start sneezing so I told him to turn around this way if you sneeze and cover up, the waiter over heard me and make fun of it and started singing TURN AROUND (Bonnie Tyler)song loudly which I found very disrespectful of him. Staff are loud downstairs.

The good part. You can walk to the beach from this hotel. Breakfast is okay if you are local or you don't...

First of all the location is perfect as you are only a few minutes walk away from the beach. This ideal especially if you need to get back to the hotel to get changed after doing water sports. So, the important stuff you ought to know about BHR. Prepare yourself for limited breakfast options in the morning. Apart from a choice of two cereals which excludes oats/muesli, you can only try four different things. Eggs only come scrambled so if you like a hard boiled egg then dream on. Two days ago i went to have scrambled egg and when i opened the lid, i noticed the colour of the eggs was not yellow. In fact it was grey, yes grey in colour and it absolutely put me off first thing in the morning. I told the staff and they simply replaced the off eggs with fresh scrambled egg and the excuse they made was the fact the eggs were overcooked. Yeah right!!! The gym is not fantastic at all. The free weight bars are bent and some machines are out of order. You will not have a straightforward workout, instead you need to think about what to do next. The gym will get very hot and stuffy and prepare to be bitten by mosquitos if you decide to train in the evening. Oh and remember to hand some form of identification in order to use the gym. Your room will not be cleaned and tidied up unless you specifically ask for it. Bedsheets will not be changed and soaps will not be topped up unless you ask. Ridiculous if you ask me!!! Overall, I would never rebook this hotel. Too many disadvantages if you ask me. I recommend...

This hotel is not value for the money you paid! The property itself is very outdated! They upgraded me to suite room for an additional amount which really not worth! Suite room - tv is only 24inches, no electric kettle provided. I am travelling with a 3yr old child, before I can make her milk, I have to request a thermos flask that will deliver to your room 1hr after u call! What shock me more are the mosquitoes that hovering around your head while inside your suite room! I have to guard my daughter not to get bitten although I have given her OFF lotion! The hot and cold shower? U need to guess which knob to turn on for hot and cold! At least a note or a sign red and blue to indicate hot and cold. I book for 2 nights and decided to leave the room empty and stayed in another hotel.

And not to forget and the worst experience I had so far?? Thier frontliners at the lobby are not friendly nor accomodating at all. They are not wearing nametag so I can't remember who they are! They are selective who they serve and entertain.

So if you look for a better place that you will enjoy, there's a lot of affordable yet cosy place esp beach front which I enjoy the rest of our days in Boracay.

The internet will add in to your frustrations too🙃...

We had our paid reservations thru Agoda app for a 4days-3nights stay with breakfast for 5. Upon confirming with the hotel, they told us that they will only cover the free breakfast for 2 pax only. Upon discussions, they allowed for additional 2 pax for a total of 4 pax. I confirmed with agoda the said issue and they told us that it should be 5 pax. Again, after days of discussions, the hotel decided to grant the request. We were the only guests in the hotel during our check-in period. As literally. We are the only guests. The 2bedroom apartment that we reserved were spacious enough for all of us. 4 beds with 2 bathrooms and with kitchen and living room. There is also a refrigerator. No utensils available. Wifi connection is slow and unstable in our rooms. You should be in the balcony or in the ground floor to have a stable wifi. We enjoyed the pool, as if it is our private pool. Though there is no heater yet we had fun. The free breakfast was good as well especially at our last day. Our request to change the rice to bread was not granted though. Our request for a HDMI cable was not granted as well. Staff are attentive to your needs. They offer the best they can atleast.

Honest Review of Our Stay – 3D2N with My 8-Year-Old Daughter This was our third hotel during our stay in Boracay, and now I understand why it doesn’t receive many reviews. Overall, the experience was just okay—definitely room for improvement. Cons: • Check-in experience was frustrating. We waited over 2 hours despite following up three times, only to realize we had been forgotten. We were literally the last guests left waiting in the lobby. • Our room was located at the far end of the third floor, near the emergency exit. The hallway layout was confusing and maze-like, which wasn’t ideal since I was traveling with a child. • The room itself felt dated—the door still used a traditional key and the keyhole was broken. • Noisy air conditioner, no table near the wall outlet (inconvenient for charging), and a smelly bathroom. • No electric kettle in the room; we had to go all the way to the ground floor to get hot or cold water. • No hairdryer provided. Pros: • The pool was clean & big enough, with a designated area for small children—definitely a plus for families. • The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good for the price—decent variety. • Strong water pressure in the shower
