I want to give this 2.5 but can’t so it is more a two. Where do I start? I might do as others have and make a pros and cons list. I think it’s also good to remember that this is a 3 star hotel so you can’t have 5 star hotel expectations but it could better than it is. |Pros|- as most people say the rooftop pool. We spent a couple of days up there and it is a nice spot especially at sunset. |- food at the rooftop restaurant was also not bad and drinks were reasonably priced. |- we were upgraded to a junior suite which was large but that’s the best I can say as there were issues with the room|Cons |- the towels as everyone else is saying. They are clean but most are threadbare. Not sure why the hotel is not investing in new ones. They also clean the room, take away your dirty towels and don’t give you new ones so you then have to chase down a room attendant. |- we would be out of our room the entire day and come back at 430pm and the room still hadn’t been cleaned. This was frustrating as you then had find a room attendant and ask them to make up the room. Most of the time we just wanted clean towels but that was always a drama (see above) |- the room is all automated which can be annoying at times especially when the power went off. This happened a couple of times in the middle of the night and when it came back on everything in the room turned on including the tv. |- as mentioned we were upgraded to a junior suite which was nice but the room had some strange features. The bathroom was surrounded by glass see through doors which is fine when you’re doing most things apart from sitting on the loo, no one wants to watch you doing that. There was also a sensor in the bathroom that activated every light and the exhaust fan and this could not be turned off. Not great for someone who gets up a couple of times a night to go to the bathroom. I ended up covering this up so it wouldn’t be activated. We were also above reception which was noisy at times. The hotel is atrium style too with the first half of the rooms opening to this. People were noisy at times in the night which is not the hotels fault but they should ask them to be quiet. People have no consideration of other people. |- overall cleanliness of the hotel was not great. I get it’s harder to maintain surfaces in a humid location but things just didn’t look or feel clean and that included the breakfast room. |- the breakfast was very very average. It was hectic and loud and the food was just acceptable. Without the egg station we would’ve gone elsewhere and as per above it felt unclean. |- staff by the pool always seemed confused with food orders delivered to tables where no one was even sitting which happened to us with you the. Having to try and clarify if it was yours. They then didn’t collect dirty plates which one time were at our table for four hours. |We paid $1100 Australian Dollars for 5 nights so the hotel is making good money. I’m not sure why they are not reinvesting some of this in maintenance including rectifying the towel situation. The pool tiles as mentioned by many others also have some issues with falling off but I think they’d have to drain the pool to fix this and you’d then lose your best asset. |There are better hotel options in the area so...
Read moreThe driver dropped off a group of guest to this hotel the night we arrived from Puerto Princesa to EL Nido. We checked this the morning after breakfast and had inquiry. It happened that it is affordable to stay and they got infinity pool that you can see the beach so we booked right away. Foods: Buffet breakfast is included which has a variety to choose from. They also spoiling us with the unlimited popcorn and ice cream from 3-5 pm while swimming. There’s also a Live music while having dinner but Friday to Saturday only if I’m not mistaken. Rooms: We have problem with our room as it has leak from the ceiling as what others are complaining here. We already told the staff about it but I think it is something that needs to resolve for safety of the guest. This might be caused from the infinity pool or AC source. Anyway we put towel on the floor to avoid accident as we stayed here 4 days in all. Services: It’s absolutely great especially the receptionist (Cyril I think, the only single among they told, but not sure of her name) is very considerate of my request very attentive, as well as the waiter and waitress at the pool. There’s also motorbike rental outside hotel if you want so easy to return when going back to Puerto Princesa. If you want to just unwind, this is a good place otherwise you must rent motorcycle so you can go anywhere. I think hotel has free shuttle to bring you to center but I’m not sure as they’ve got one and has name in it as what other hotel has in some places, just ask the receptionist or guard on duty. Safe place Guard on...
Read moreWe had an enjoyable overnight stay at Lime Hotel Boracay with my husband and our 4-year-old daughter. We stayed in a Superior Twin Room, which had a small balcony perfect for drying clothes, though it didn’t offer a view. The lobby and rooms were clean, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating, which made our stay even more pleasant.||Our room was comfortable and well-equipped with a 32” LED flat-screen TV, mini refrigerator, safety deposit box, coffee and tea-making facilities, a writing desk, and complimentary WiFi access. Perfect for a short family getaway!||The highlight for us was definitely the rooftop pool, it offers a breathtaking view of the Boracay sea, especially during sunset. The SkyLounge is right beside the pool, so you can relax with a cocktail while watching the sunset. It’s a great spot to unwind after a day at the beach||Location-wise, the hotel is very accessible. It’s just a 3-minute walk to the beach, and conveniently close to Savemore and several food stores. Everything you need is within reach.||One important note: While we had a great experience, I would not recommend this hotel for senior citizens or persons with disabilities (PWDs) as the stairs leading up to the lobby are quite steep. There’s no elevator access from the entrance, which can be challenging for those with mobility issues.||Overall, Lime Hotel Boracay is a solid choice for families or couples looking for a clean, modern, and conveniently located place to stay — just make sure to consider the stair access depending on your...
