Agos Boracay is one superb inn anyone should always consider settling in at, for work or vacation. Situated within the core of Station 2, Agos sits along the main road, just a block away from the beachfront. It's a four-storey structure set on a mountain ascend. Service is superb and staff are outstandingly nice, kind, helpful and trustworthy. Everyone is well provided for with individually packed toiletries (soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, etc.), drinking water, coffee and wares. A safety deposit box is also provided for. You can also always request for whatever necessary stuff you might need, such as plates, utensils, beach towels, hangers and others, free of charge. They don't offer breakfast, nor can you order any food, 'cause apparently. their partner supplier hasn't gone back to open the business yet since the pandemic. Lots of options nearby though.
Accommodating staff with constant smiles and salutations are ever available to lend a hand, assist and cater to your every need. Even the guards who secure the premises from 8pm-8am are friendly and helpful.
The room we stayed at was pretty neat, cozy and spacious, I might say. Being at the uppermost level, the room has an upper deck which serves as another studio room with closets, accommodating the safety deposit box. From there you could see a more vast view of the Beachfront. All beds had pull ups (great provision). Full body mirrors were set on both decks of the room. It's at the end side of the top floor (4th) where there's a view of the Beachfront, and on the other side of the patio leading to a a lounge deck, you could get a great view of the Bolabog Beach, where all the water activities happen.
We had an awesome time staying there! Only downside would be the structure of the place. Since it's on an ascending side of a mountain, you'll have to take a few flights before you could reach the main lounge, where the welcome/info desk is. Opposite the lounge with a fountain-like garden structure in the middle, would be a really nice gazebo. Then, we'd have to climb 8 flights to finally get to our room. I'd say it's a no-no for senior citizens nor PWD's. Like I am, I have this worst condition of heartburn attacks, and I would always stop and rest at the lounge or gazebo before going back up again. Hence, my only 4-star rate.
Over-all, it was a great stay and Agos is a superb...
Read moreWe stayed here in December 2019 for my wife's birthday. The place is great! Given it's affordable price, clean amenities, strategic location, and courteous staff.
Rooms are very spacious and well-maintained. There is a veranda with a view for each room and the rooftop is also nice. It is located along the main road and a five-minute walk to Jollibee, D'Mall and Station 2 beach. Although the serving is a bit small, their free breakfast is delicious, properly prepared, and reasonable.
Their best asset is their excellent customer service: their staff always smiles and greets us politely, go way beyond their duties to attend to our needs, and treat every guest in a very special manner. They even made a special surprise for my wife on her birthday by decorating the room upon our arrival. Special shoutout to Ms. Jen for her excellent customer service and extended effort to attend to our needs starting from our check-in, to providing directions, and booking our transfers to the airport.
As observed, they are also quite versatile with foreigners and most staff are good in English, so no problems in communication.
Not recommended though if you have Senior Citizens and PWDs with you since you have to go through some flight of stairs (around 20 steps) in order to reach them from the highway. However, their staff are very helpful in assisting to carry luggages in case you need them.
All in all, our 4-day stay was truly worth it and we really enjoyed our first time in Boracay because we chose the right hotel to stay in. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and choose this again once...
Read moreMy sister and I had a pleasant stay at Agos Hotel, Boracay.
Pros:
• The location is very convenient, right along the highway and close to D’Mall, making it easy to explore the area. • The staff, especially Sophia, is extremely hospitable and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, she made sure we felt at home, helping with bags, explaining hotel policies, and even giving recommendations. She stood out for her kindness and professionalism. Kudos to Sophia! • Affordable rates, even for a last-minute booking. We got our room for around 1500+ PHP a night, which was a great deal. • The room (301, twin bed) was spacious, clean, and had a good air conditioning system. It was peaceful throughout our stay, allowing us to relax.
Cons:
• The hotel isn’t PWD or senior citizen-friendly due to the number of stairs. There are about 30-50 steps leading to the lobby and then up to our room on the 3rd floor, which could be tiring. • There are no amenities like pools or room service, though the staff is more than happy to assist with food deliveries. • The stairs leading to the bedroom have no railings, which could be a hazard, especially for kids.
Despite the lack of amenities and the stairs, we would definitely return. Next time, we’ll probably opt for a room on the 2nd floor to avoid the...
