We arrived at around 5 pm, obviously too late for a standard check in time and the room wasn't ready. The room we reserved was a fan room since we will be transferring to another hotel the following day. Since it wasn't ready, we decided to upgrade into an airconditioned room so all of us will be more comfortable. The price is cheap anyway. After 30 minutes, we were able to enter the room. It was ok for the price.||||We stayed for a couple of hours before we decided to go out. The AC automatically shuts down and we were trying to find out what happened and to our surprise, the AC is connected to a switch somewhere in the reception area.||||I asked for an assistance from the reception and we were advised that they accidentally switched it off (while laughing) and I didn't hear an apology. We no longer talked about what happened since it only happened for 15 munutes.||||We slept at 12 am and woke up at around 3 because the AC wasn't working again. Because we were too tired, i didn't report that the AC wasnt working again and went back to sleep. We woke up at 8 and reported it and the lady said that they had to switch it off because they had to do something. Whatever that is, i responded with an irritated tone and ask them why they had to do what they are supposed to do while someone is vhecked in. And then the owner went out and blamed us for not reporting it right away. Seriously???at 3 am???||||Bottomline is, we paid for something we were not able to use.||||I will never ever go back here...
Read moreI would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay, and the best thing is that this is located right on the beachfront and only a two to five minute walk to the main road.
The room was perfect for me and my husband, with enough space to move around and store our belongings. The bathroom was clean and functional with a hot shower. However, they need to improve the ceiling because we can hear the footsteps from the second floor (but it's not that loud and it did not interrupt us anyway), and the wifi is intermittently working but we're able to resolve it because I'm skilled to troubleshoot issues like this so I instructed my husband to teach the helpers how to fix this issue.
The location was also great, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby.
Overall, I would give this budget accommodation a 5-star rating for its excellent value for money, comfortable accommodation, and convenient location. We would definitely stay here again in...
Read more10 steps to the beach (you can see it from the hotel grounds) big room, private bathroom, wifi, comfy bed, friendly staff and a nice outside terrace area all for the cheapest beachfront hotel in Boracay- what more do you want people?!||I really don't understand how anybody could complain about this place, it is only 1.6km from the jetty and it is right near all the cheap bars (Kei and Swiss inn have the cheapest beers and spirits I saw on the Island)||It is far from the mall if you are literally the laziest person in the world because personally I wouldn't class a 7-8 minute walk far, especially when it's along a beautiful beach! You will not find a better deal for the location (trust me I looked around) ||High season for 1000 pesos for 2 people (low season would be even less- the price is negotiable) Unless you are used to 5 star hotels then I would 100% recommend this place- backpacker bliss. Thank you...
