We stayed in room 402. Their one and only family room for 3 days and 2 nights. 1. Room: I love the interior design. The blue and white wall color is very relaxing and is pulling me to stay indoors. 2. Amenities: beach towel (blue striped, hairdryer, fridge and microwave, great size of drawer and cabinet with hangers, safety deposit box and an LCD TV with cable channels. Each hallway has a CCTV and wet clothes rack. 3. Location: 10 to 20 seconds walk to beachfront once you're on the ground. I was surprised to never got tired of getting up and down. The stairs steps are well planned that I never noticed that I am on the 4th floor. 4. Activities: Paddle Boarding to a sunset cruise and a lot more. 5. Sleep: I love the bed. It was by far the best bed that we ever slept into a hotel and what I am most grateful for is that there are 4 big pillows and 2 throw pillows. We didn't have to fight over the pillows. The bed is comfortable and the comforter compensates for the cold temperature. 6. Value for money: You definitely will get what you paid for. Though two of my expectations were not met, a warm shower and a poor internet connection, I highly recommend this hotel accommodation for your Boracay vacation. Reminder: If you will be taking the tricycle from Cagban port, tell the driver to drop you to the beach path before Sea Wind Resort. That is the closest path to the hotel. You will pass through at least 5 more resorts. It is around a 2-5 minute walk.

I had the pleasure of visiting One Azul and it was a wonderful experience. The beachfront location is just steps away, (reference video available) making it easy to go for a leisurely stroll in station one. I highly recommend One azul for anyone looking for a cozy laid back budget-friendly hotel in station one.

Ok place not really beach front but really close. The room is clean but there was a problem with the heater on the first night but they resolved it, sockets beside the bed doesnt work as well. But other than that its good value for money staff is kind too and attends to your needs

I've been staying here every year for 5 yrs every time I take my vacation in Boracay. However, my recent stay with my family was an unpleasant one due to this new manager who didn't even have any decency to show herself to me when I was looking for her. She even made her staff to LIE, by telling me she's not around , well in fact she's just sitting in front of me when I was talking to her staff about the problem of the air conditioner in our room. ||I booked a month ago, a family room on the 4th floor. I told the manager that I'm a regular customer of One Azul. I looked for the previous manager whom I know many yrs ago but she said , the previous one is no longer connected with them she claimed to be the present manager. I advised her to kindly check the a.c. and make sure it's working properly.||Day1. I came and greeted the staff and I asked for the new manager. They said , she seldom stay there. ||Day2. I told them the A.C. isn't working properly, and asked them if they could send an a.c. cleaner and maybe add more freon. No one technician came the ff day. I also texted the so-called invisible manager. ||Early morning around 6am, electricity was cut. Was waiting for them to turn the generator. We waited for 45min. My sister went down from the 4th floor to the ground just to inform them. No one was there. She rang the bell from the front desk. A woman with short blonde hair came out of the room telling off my sister not to rang the bell next time. My sister just went up. After another 15mins. The electricity was restored back to the whole island. No generator backing up the brown outs.|We didn't know who was the lady until the local neighbourhood told us it was the NEW manager.||Day3. We asked for beach towels, The staff said, no more beach towel left. I told her it's not an excuse and it was the first time it ever happened in my whole experience with One Azul. ||Day4.I sent my daughter to ask for a toilet paper. It took them 45mins to deliver. I asked again for the manager, the staff told me, she's not around. I only found out from the local neighborhood that they told me , the manager was the one in pink shirt! Same woman sitting in front of me at the counter when I was asking for the manager.||Day5. I went to settle my bills before our departure. To my surprised the manager asked me to pay more than what we talked over the phone. I told the staff o message her and to clarify. I paid 50% almost month before our arrival date. Deposited it thru bank. And now she's asking me to pay more? I told the staff, tell her to face me now and explain , I even texted her and no reply. |I just settled what is due to what I believed is correct. ||While on the boat on our way to caticlan airport. She texted me some nasty words. Very unbecoming for a hotel manager.|She even told me that I'm a lier, well in fact she was the one lying together with her staff. ||I wish this review will be read by the owners of ONE AZUL. It's a pity you removed the previous manager , whom I find so hard working and accommodating and to be replaced by this one with a monstrous attitude. ||I used to enjoy my vacation with this tiny hotel, this new arrogant manager has ruined it and destroy my relationship with One Azul. |I will never go back there again , my family and friends! ||There are so many new hotels there that can offer more comfort and...

Upon arrival, the room I was given was able to be opened from the outside when locked, with virtually minimal force. I was then given a room on the top floor so I then proceeded to take my luggage up 3 flights of stairs, I checked the lock and it worked but found leftover food and bugs inside the unplugged fridge. I then decided to cancel the second room and stay in the one downstairs with my friend. After taking all my luggage down the stairs again, I inspected the room to find stained sheets and then tested the lock, which again managed to open with minimal force. This was a massive concern for us considering the safety of our belongings and this was on the ground floor and in view of the nearby locals that stay outside the hotel. Feeling too exhausted to book another hotel I then decided that we would both go back to the room on the top floor once the fridge was cleaned. We bought our luggage up the 3 flights of stairs again and settled in. The staff accommodated this efficiently but with no apologies therefore it felt like we were complaining although these are basic requirements when one is paying for accommodation regardless. In terms of housekeeping, they asked if they could clean the room. All that was done was a small bit of sweeping and bed made, with the same sandy, stained sheets as before. Front of house staff finish their shift in the evening and there is no security staff at all. On top of all this the persistent and aggressive vendors sleep on the sun loungers assigned for the hotel. Stayed here couple times before and has obviously gone downhill, location is more quiet than station 2 or 3 but the vendors make you feel like you should've stayed somewhere else. If you expect next to nothing but a bed and toilet, then go for it. Only worth if you're paying rock...
